Sturridge's career is such a shame. Balotelli-level wasted potential. Also, justice for Giroud.

brilliant graph, the type of stats we need to see and talk about.
Graph also shows why Henry is the best PL player of all-time.
Also highlights what a good player Aguero has been in this league.
Still can't take Salah seriously in one of the best PL players discussion though, he's a statpadding merchant that found his perfect role in a well-oiled Liverpool machine
How can this graph both illustrate how Henry is one of the best PL players of all time, but Salah is a statpadding merchant?
I'm not a Salah fan by any means, but he's been quite brilliant since he's arrived in the EPL

Because he's an Arsenal fan, answer is pretty obvious.

True. He's good.
But are we talking about a top 5 PL player of all-time good? Because Henry definitely is.

Easy position to take but as an LFC fan there is no comparison between Henry and Salah.
We know who is miles better and had more influence for their team.
I do like Salah and he has been immense for us but he remains a very frustrating player who can be limited and we've two other forwards who are just better.
His goal record is outstanding especially given he was not so great in Roma for instance.
Plus we must account the numbers of back then do not reflect compared to what strikers score today.
Easily one of the all time greats for the Premiership, Henry

My favourite part of that graph is how close Giroud is to Ashley Cole

I think that would be Andy Cole
My favourite parts are how close Ronaldo is to Stan Collymore, and how close Hazard is to Theo Walcott

I was looking at that chart again and thought Javier Hernandez was weirdly high up. According to his wikipedia stats he's got 158 PL apps and 53 goals, coming to 0.34 goals per game. I don't know has he scored penalties. His goal ratio on the chart is about 0.60 and the chart is per-90-minutes. Chicharito has been mostly a sub, but I didn't realise he's been this efficient with his minutes that his per-90-minutes figure is almost twice as good as his goals-per-game figure.

That makes more sense, but I'm going to continue to live my life thinking it's Ashley.

News here:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/05/28/exclusive-premier-league-restart-june-17/
PL reportedly returning on June 17th with Villa vs Sheff Utd and City vs Arsenal. This will then put all teams on 29 games ahead of the "true" restart the following weekend.
The remaining 90 games will be played over seven weekends and two mid-week rounds. Every game to be televised in the UK.
FA Cup final scheduled for August 8th.
I legit forgot Arsenal were still in the FA Cup lol.
If this is true, will be interesting to see when next season starts. It usually starts mid-August but the players will still need a break (albeit not as long a break) and there's the small matter of the transfer window.

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter IV
Guys , I need to ask a thing just out for curiosity
I'm on a private PES league. Logged on yesterday.
In my team I've this James, Chelsea fullback. Never heard of him.
Players high their ratings based on performances, so if you're young great player you can improve and opposite for old finished players..
Well, I've many users who want this my James .They even offered me an offensive player rated as 85 to be swapped with James and James is just 77
So the question is : But who hell is this James ?????
Is he really the new thing of fullbacks but yet I have never heard of him ??

Re: 2019/2020 Premier League Discussion: Chapter IV
I assume it's Reece James.
He was a typical Chelsea youth for a while, being very impressive in their successful youth sides but never seeing the first team. He then had a productive year with Wigan in the Championship and came back when Lampard took over Chelsea. Since then he's broken into the Chelsea first team.
I don't know about being the next best full-back or anything but he seems decent, from what I've watched. He's not putting up Alexander-Arnold numbers or anything (or even Bukayo Saka numbers, for that matters) though which is probably why you haven't heard of him despite the fact he plays for Chelsea.

It will be grand to make the title official, but Liverpool don't really have anything to play for as far as excitement goes. I hope everything goes well and the season is gotten over with, but I don't actually feel that excited about it resuming.

I'm not excited but I hope they can finish the season and decide everything fairly and safely, because it'd be a big mess otherwise.

I was happy with the season ending early.
It's going to be anyone's guess what happens when the PL is back, no one has any match fitness so I'm expecting some bad games.
