Honourable mentions: Busquets, Pique, David Villa, Lahm, Ribery, Ashley Cole (he could easily replace Marcelo imo, probably should), Ramos
puyol was literally dead by 2012... how would he make the team of the DECADE (2010-20)
Also, injuries curtailed Puyol's longevity, not form. And yes, I considered, at their peaks, Puyol a better defender than Ramos with no apologies.Going with what I considered peak performance instead of longevity

I go with trophies since its my logic on how one can establish the impact of their quality in history.
Madrid has 4 UCLs and Spain has one World Cup so this has to be Spanish league based afNeuer
Marcelo Ramos Pique Alves
Xavi Iniesta Modric
Ronaldo Suarez Messi
Suarez since he's won 2 golden boot, one with a shitty team. Arguable here.
Rubbish nonsense.
13/14 Liverpool had a streak of 3 win, 1 draw & 1 defeat while Suárez was still banned.
Also, they were an brilliant offensive team outside Suárez that season.
- Daniel Sturridge was EPL's 2nd best goalscorer with 21 goals.
- Raheem Sterling had a breakout season & won GoldenBoy award.
- Steven Gerrard was still a world class player at that point.
- Philippe Coutinho emerged as one of EPL's best midfielders.
If anything, Liverpool couldn't win EPL because of their shit defense.

Re: Team of the Decade
Liverpool also finished 6th the season when he really was not around with a team that contained Daniel Sturridge, Sterling, Gerrard and Coutinho. Brilliant offense they were with their leading PL goalscorer having less than 10 goals. Pretty sure it was Gerrard or Sterling.
Nish maybe the typical Pool supporter but he also knows Liverpool and that team was Suarez plus 10.

Liverpool had a lot of issues after 13/14 season (Gerrard being washed, Sturridge injuries etc.)
Suggesting Liverpool's downfall is entirely because of Suárez's departure is a lazy narrative.

You're just a lunatic Benzema fanboy who has no other aspect to football opinion than bigging up Benzema and thus downplays every contribution made by every other striker ever.
I.e. you're a fucking clown and your opinion can't be taken serious at all.
I'm not even sure how anyone can be such an one dimensional clown as you are, how this is possible, how you do it, but hey.
Happy New Year.
I'm pretty drunk but this is the truth.
