True but he did change the game completely. A leaner physique and brains and he could have been a monster. Has all the talent.

He has had an excellent season. Still plenty of time to grow and he currently is doing just that.

Nothing suggests these guys are going to produce their best work at wannabe big clubs like West Ham and Everton. The bold choice for West Ham would be to pursue someone like Howe or Dyche, a manager to whom West Ham would be a step up.

It doesn't help that their bigger signings seem to always under-perform (Felipe Anderson is yet to score a goal this season; Haller cost £45m and has just-about-ok'ish 5 goals). They need someone in charge who's got an idea of what the squad needs instead of going for the fanciest player they can get.

What do you mean over-the-hill?

Managers are not like players who just simply cannot play at the same level after a certain age.

Sure Football evolves, but not so drastically and dramatically to make certain types of tactics/coaches obsolete.

Pellegrini is a Solid Coach. he may not be top tier, but for a team like West Ham, he is more than good enough.

Villa's goal ruled out.

It doesn't only happen for Liverpool. Deal with us being better with or without VAR, don't be in denial since you cannot fathom it so you clutch at straws.

Offside rule is the issue.

How can this be changed? Either we rule out minute offsides but then it can be taken advantage of a lot or we change the rule to just head, chest and foot. Grey area will always exist as limits are drawn.

@Nishankly don't let those Referpool comments get to you. Laughing Every time a team starts dominating a competition, the moans and growns about referees grow louder. It happened to Madrid during their CL run, to Lyon back when we dominated the league, to Fergie's Man U, Pepcelona etc...

I don't mean tactics or coaching ability. I question whether managers like Pellegrini and Ancelotti have the greatest motivation to coach clubs like West Ham and Everton at this stage of their careers. If a manager is just happy to get another paycheck and lacks real drive to be successful at their club, I don't think they're going to get the best out of their team or individual players. If I were a West Ham or *shivers* Everton fan, I'd want my club to take a chance on an up-and-coming manager rather than one of these old warhorses who are winding down their careers.

the full quotes are actually pretty amazing, he calls the club "out of touch with reality", which confirms what we all knew from Utd's insolently blatant press briefings, that Woodward is a major bullshitter. It also shows that this realization has spread in the professional world of football.

Bayol is a champion who carried Madrid to historic CL titles and was demonized and shit on consistently throughout his stay by the media and treated unfairly by management...Paul Pogba's a fucking jobber with delusions of granduer. Would be nice if we could never do business with that sweaty greaseball Mino Raiola ever again, but he consistently represents the best in the world and since we're the biggest club in the world, it's inevitable. Bah.

Can't wait to smash Arsenal tonight.
