Not at all. We can't help it with Arsenal so deep. It's good tactics from Emery. Crowding the defense and midfield. Almost smashed and grabbed it as well.

Pepe gives us another dimension, lovely player.

We've parked the bus and it almost worked. I expect to concede 2-3 more now on the counter.

Expected with Arsenal's formation and our personnel + new system. Ox or Keita there and we start playing through midield again.

Arsenal look dangerous (kind of) when they get the ball to Pepe or Auba, but it's not happening too often.

Emery, the mad man. Laughing Leaving the flanks open against one of the best teams at using the wide spaces to attack. Asking two 20-year-olds to shuffle across. Turned the game into crossing practice.

And it was kinda working? Liverpool's crossing lacked quality, Sokratis and Luiz were winning their duels and the midfield were combining really well under pressure. Pepe was threatening when the ball did go his way.

Danger was that defending so deep yields a lot of set-pieces, and Liverpool had the advantage.

Oh well. At least it's only 1-0. Expected it to be far worse.

Upon a rewatch it seems that Luiz Guendouzi was held down by VVD

Sokratis was grabbign VVD's shirt and VVD was holding down Guendouzi in retaliation.

I have no complaints about that tbh. Normal in penalty box.

Guendouzi is described as "everyone's litter brother" by the squad. Might have taken it too when Luiz arrived, though.

Emery's such a cuck. Has a frontine of Aubameyang, Lacazette, Pepe and yet chooses to play midtable football.

Arsenal are Salah's favorite victim, about time he showed up

Scoreline flatters Liverpool tbf, Arsenal could've/should've been up by 2 on the 1st half

It's quite unbelievable that Arsenal, with all the defensive issues they had last season, thought that signing Luiz to help their defense was a good idea.

Luiz is one of the most mediocre CB going around big clubs i have ever seen, an absolute scrub

The original Danilo. Two scrubs carried by their passport and powerful agents.
