Re: Everton Vs Arsenal
Have to say their midfield does look better than ours
But I have faith in our attacking trio.

Re: Everton Vs Arsenal
Terrible performance from everyone.
What is it with us and away games? I mean I know it’s harder to win away from home but the difference between us and our rivals is staggering.

For one, playing with 10 men from the start is a definite issue.
I don't think the performance would have been as bad with our first choice midfield. But a concern that most of the players were playing like it was pre-season.

Re: Everton Vs Arsenal
The players put in an unacceptable amount of effort. Everton controlled the whole game by simply working harder. First to every ball, won most of their tackles, dominated us in the air and, if not for shoddy finishing, should have won the game by several goals.
These types of losses are the most frustrating for me because I can't fathom how a team that has so much at stake can turn up as if its a pre-season friendly and not a game against a decent team away from home. Sometimes we lose because we lack quality or were just unlucky, which is acceptable under most circumstances. But to lose because of a lack of effort? I can never accept that.
I mean, Calvert-Lewin just bullied our centre backs. Richarlison bullied Monreal. Monreal was utterly hopeless all game. Couldn't compete in the air, fell to the ground too easily, complained at the refs and was chasing shadows. In the second half we had no midfield at all. The cut-back to the edge of the box was on for them every time they countered. We committed all those players forward and for what? For Mkhitaryan to blast the ball out of play when trying to play a simple pass. For Lacazette to escape his marker but then fall over when playing the pass. For Ozil to be nudged off the ball like he's a school kid.
Man, this doesn't give me any hope about getting into the top four. We've got Watford, Leicester, Wolves and Burnley to play on the road and all I can see is us turning up like this and getting turned over each time.
