watching some footage of the new shadow of the colossus, graphically looks great..ffs, wish I waited a few years instead of playing the PS2 port. I might replay it anyway

Thought you might tbh.

I got Dragonball Fighterz because i enjoyed the beta and the reviews have been extremely good, seems like a good fighting game regardless if you like the anime or not tbh.

So unless i get bored incredibly quickly i can't see me buying Monster Hunter tbh even if you hype it up.

In other words, it's back to waiting for Yakuza and God of War.

Today, Microsoft announced that it was expanding the Xbox Game Pass to also include brand new, Xbox-exclusive titles. As in, when Xbox One exclusives launch, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, or future Halo or Gears games, they will also appear on day one in Xbox Game Pass.

$10 a month. Basically netflix of gaming.

I'd never buy another first party single player game again if Sony did the same, doubt they will though

I was semi-interested in the new DBZ. Big fan as I'm sure we all were as kids..and it looked fun from what I saw.

Unfortunately, I have always sucked ass at fighting games outside of maybe Tekken, I think it's because that's the only fighting game I ever actually put effort into learning and even then tbh I wasn't great or even very good. So I'm sure I'd just get my ass smashed in playing DBZ Laughing

which would inevitably lead me to disliking it. Not ruling out giving it a try either, though.

Still might tbh, but i'm going to go through the arcade mode and story mode first. At least i'm going to get some decent stuff out of it before i go online and get my ass kicked Laughing

Although i did alright in the beta, plus the combos are very easy to learn tbh. The super combo for most characters seems to be like a 3 button combo.

The basics of the game seem very easy to learn, trouble is they'll probably be people online who just juggle you constantly.

Can't wait for that tbh.

Speaking of which there's been some very small info come out for Metro Exodus thanks to an interview with Playstation magazine.

The script for Metro Exodus has been nailed down, 4A Games has said, with its final narrative being larger than Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light’s stories combined.

Speak to UK publication Official PlayStation Magazine, 4A Games executive producer Jon Bloch said: “To put this into perspective, Metro Exodus’ script is larger than both Metro 2033’s and Last Light’s combined, including all DLC.”

It sounds like we’ve got a mighty big game on our hands then, even though, despite what we first thought, Metro Exodus isn’t open-world. Instead, a break from the confines of the Russian metro system has allowed 4A Games to make wide open levels that can be approached in a lot of ways. 4A has touted levels as large as four kilometres, alongside sandbox gameplay and a full day/night cycle that emulates open-world even if it’s strictly not. Rather than creeping through the Moscow Metro, players will have their very own steam train with which to journey into Eastern Russia. Out here you’ll find new societies, religions, monsters, mutants, and ways of life, all deeply affected by the nuclear fallout which has devastated Russia.

Bloch also had a few choice words to say about the PlayStation 4 Pro (being a PS4 magazine and all), claiming the team is “putting special attention into the PlayStation 4 Pro to ensure we are using every bit of power that it provides.”

Dragonball Fighterz is *bleep* amazing Laughing

I can see why it scored so high ( currently 88 on Metacritic)

Gameplay is so *bleep* good, it's basically what you get when combine 3 v 3 gameplay of say a Marvel vs Capcom and the ridiculously high speed of a Dragonball Z anime fight.

Genuinely feel like they'll be people who like fighting games who will get this because of how good it is once the word gets around, only way you can can replicate the tv series any game better is have it be 3D but with the gameplay mechanics and control of this.

But that's probably impossible, so this will be as good as it gets. Only thing i'd say is for people who don't like the anime now or never did the story will be a bit cringe, but the general gameplay is fantastic.

I haven't touched online yet and will no doubt get my arse kicked but until then :bow:

There are a lot of 'karma moments' in the game. Listening to conversations, doing side quests etc gives you the good karma. Your screen will often flash white when you do that.
