7 minutes Mario Gomez hattrick ffs
In Die Super Plastico, bayer took the lead against the run of play, scoring twice, with Zuper Mario missing his fair share of chances. then in the last 10 mins, Super Mario scored two headers from corners, before Heinrichs did not do his National team career any favours, with a bad tackle in the box, resulting in a PK, which Super M scored. But then 17 year old Kai Havertz did his national team career a favour, scoring in the 89 min making it 3-3.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
So happy Mario scored. His braces and hatricks come in such quick succession, teams have no clue what hit them. Having a solid season for Wolfsburg.

Mario has scored in every game in which he was managed by Jonkers. I think it's about >10 games running now. Run started at Bayern in 2011.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
And if anyone mentions his Fiorentina tenure then it was marred by injuries as on his minutes and the more creative role Montella made for him, he succeeded despite the move itself not panning out as expected. Yet given all the hinderances he performed astutely.
Glad he's found a decent home in Wolfsburg even if the town itself is boring as cardboard.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Their kid coach is a bloody miracle worker. There's no other way to put it.
The team, let alone squad, really isn't that good (except for the guys joining Bayern of course, ahem), and he's taken them instantly from relegation candidates to one of the top3-5 performing teams.
Consistent, hard to beat, good football, constantly. Amazing. 29 year olds or something like that.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Dropping points was to be expected, with THAT lineup, against that opponent, with BVB and Real ahead.
Hoffenheim's work against the ball is unreal, and also they're fouling constantly, in expert fashion, without consequence. Referee today decided yellow cards is not part of his repertoire.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Disgusting game as I cannot stand Nagelsmann's team and another piece of luck by them via terrible refereeing or wondergoal. Guess Bayern needed to lose that one on accord of replenishing a few things here and there and some noticeable fatigue.
Undeserved result.

Bayer team shirts shouldsay "Why always me" on them.
Köln - M'gladbach (Sa.) 2:3 (1:1)
Good away Derby win for gladbach
Schalke - Wolfsburg 4:1 (2:0)
As bad as it was for the Pretenders to lose in the last minute to 10 men, I think that VW are the new Pretenders.
Freiburg - Mainz 1:0 (0:0)
I dont like how today it is all about the Managers, nobody really understands what Marshall Mcluhan meant when he said the "Manager is the Message",but having said that, I do think Christian Streich is a very good maanger.
Hamburg - Hoffenheim 2:1 (1:1)
WTF? I guess the Hamburglers are safe this year
Leipzig - Leverkusen 1:0 (0:0)
I thought Bayer actually played well.
Willy Orban had been sent of in the 89 min for a second yellow, so the draw seemed a sae result. The Scandinavian connection had other ideas. Forsberg sending a ball across the box, which I though Poulsen would not get to and if he did get to it he would never be able to get on goal, due to the angle. but Poulsen managed to bank it off the post, to get Lane Bowl Leipzig the win. If Bayern lose later, I guess it makes the title race semi interesting, no not really.

And game over after 10 minutes. It is not that Dortmund are playing that badly, it is just every time bayern decide to attack, they score
