The more this wears on, the better it seems to get for Le Pen....especially with the shooting that happened.
Would be devastating for the EU if she wins.

Hope Le Pen wins so EU is more or less finished, then my prediction of en economically superior Britain will prevail sooner than expected with no EU to complicate matters.

There's more chance of me banging Angelina Jolie than Le Pen winning this election, like i said she'll get slaughtered in the runoff.

Unless she manages to garner more than 30% votes. I feel another attack can go down very soon considering the magnitude of the situation and history of these so called radicals, I hope the French security is ready for the next 1.5 months.

You shouldn't be particularly optimistic about that, if you are even correct that is.
Because the fact of the matter is this fringe movement in France has gone mainstream, the factors that have brought it into the mainstream aren't going away, in fact they will continue to get worse with retarded liberal leadership. So the continued growth of the far right (especially in France) will continue. It's guaranteed. (And I mean real 'far' right, not le pen)
If le pen doesn't win this time she will probably win next time (assuming a functional political system still exists)

Re: French Elections 2017
A man was injured by gunfire in Rouen, western France, as million of French voters cast their ballots in the presidential election, three days after the murder of a policeman in Paris.
Local media reported that the man was injured in the legs and rushed to hospital after “at least two shots” were fired in the city centre. The shooter was reported to be on the run.
Initial reports suggested that the incident was not terror-related but arose from a dispute between two people who knew each other.
Earlier security scares led to the evacuation of several polling stations around the country but all turned out to be false alerts.
Voting was briefly suspended at two polling stations in the eastern town of Besançon after a car was driven very slowly towards one of them, and then abandoned with its engine running.
A rifle was found inside, but Le Parisien newspaper reported that it was not terror-related but a “common law case”.

Surely Le Pen not even winning the 1st round is considered a huge defeat? Macron will annihilate her in the 2nd roundPedram wrote:Ipsos: Macron 23.7%, Le Pen 21.7%, Fillon and Melenchon 19.5%

Ballotage systems should make way for ranked voting though, no sense in having a final round if it can be decided at once

Re: French Elections 2017
Congratulations to the Rotschild family. Their candidate is the president now....there is no way MLP can overcome a 20 point deficit in polls in 2 weeks, short of a 9/11 style attack in France before May 7.
What really stands here, is how pointless the so called Center-Right / Conservative parties are in the West. From LR, to Tories, to Republicans, to CDU.....they are all globalist managed controlled opposition whose job is to lose elegantly, and even if they win, never go against the globalist agenda, and have not conserved a single thing. Even the far left communists have more principles and integrity than the Center-Right.
Fillon didn't wait 3 minutes to endorse Macron for second round, whereas Melenchon didn't endorse anyone. The communists have more pride and integrity than conservatives.
Well, Macron said last week France will need to learn to live with terrorism or the upcoming years, and looks like the upcoming years will be with him as the commander in chief. So frankly, it means France has officially accepted terror as a way of life now. It should be treated as a normal routine, like grocery shopping...well, too bad !
The "populism" wave is over for now. Between MLP' impending loss, Trump 180 U-Turns into becoming your standard run of the mill republican, and a lame Brexit that will take 10 years to complete under a globalist controlled Tory gov't....NWO is back on track after a difficult 2016.

Re: French Elections 2017
Love it when these candidates make comments like that about terrorism, he also said mass migration was 'unstoppable' Erm, you're the Presidential hopeful you will have the power to stop it happening. Clearly they're far too obsessed with globalisation. I wonder when the bubble will burst, because it will. But not for another decade at least by the looks of it.

He doesn't have the power, he can advocate for it in the EU but migration as a whole is EU policy as they don't control their own borders.

Re: French Elections 2017
Yes and he can remove them from the EU, obviously he has no intention of doing so being pro EU but the fact is there's nothing unstoppable about mass migration it's just that the people who are getting elected are far more concerned with other matters to the detriment of their own countries, turning a blind eye to unsustainable migration of people, many of which have zero intention of assimilating into the culture of the countries taking them.
As I said, the bubble will burst. But evidently what passes for today's 'far right' is not quite at the point of being elected globally yet.

Re: French Elections 2017
So expected.
I' ve never understood why it still survives this fallacy that the Front National can really win the general election in France , considering the double shift system .
It's enough a Macron to win against them .because yes,if I think that Socialists and Gaullists will vote Macron now, no chances for Le Pen.
Generally the Macron - Le Pen run-off is the worst scenario for France anyway imo.
Basically the nothing ( I Dislike Macron .. absolutely ) vs a fascist party, but of course it's better the "centrist".
I think Gaullists have bottled this election day , the France Postwar is basically a Gaullist country ( except for the Mitterand era - but with a cohabitation - and Hollande ) and this was the perfect election for them but they weren't good to nominate a credible politician.
Very glad for Melenchon result ! , for me the Melenchon voters 'll abstain from voting now , but it should not change something.

Can't blame Melenchon for not endorsing anyone tbh, it's hard to choose between a neofascist and a neoliberal.

French far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen is “temporarily” stepping down as leader of the National Front party.

Re: French Elections 2017
So what's going to happen in the upcoming general election in June??? Will the Republican back Macron (who doesn't have a party of his own) or will Macron's present platform take more formal shape? Will the socialist and Melechon (who, AFAIK broke away from PS) unite of fight separately???

Re: French Elections 2017
^ Fillon immediately backed Macron after conceding defeat.
Melenchon (the far left candidate), refused to back anyone.
But yea, too little too late for MLP to stand down as FN leader. She should have done it months ago....the party' name is tainted by her father' holocaust denial and embarrassing defeat in 2002. MLP should have rebranded the party, or made a new one after kicking her dad out in 2010.
That's what Macron did. Macron was part of the failing SP party of Hollande, even served under him....yet he knew Holland is so unpopular (4% approval rate ffs ), and it'd be a disaster to run as a SP canddiate, so he made a fake new party to disassociate from the fact that he's basically Hollande with a better hair.
4D chess by the globalists. It worked brilliantly !!
