La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Malaga CF
Team news:
This week Gerard Pique, Jeremy Mathieu and Jordi Alba all returned to training and could well be in consideration for a place in the squad. Andres Iniesta is progressing well from his knee injury but will not be available for the visit of Malaga. Samuel Umtiti will also be out after picking up an injury on international duty as will Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez who is suspended.
Lucho:
"This is a great chance for Paco Alcácer, and he’ll be starting tomorrow. But his aim is not just to score goals, but to help the team to win, and I’m sure he’ll have a great game."
“Malaga have hit on their best run of form since the league started, so they’ll be buzzing with confidence.”
Juande Ramos:
“With respect to the danger of our opponents, it’s enormous, as big or bigger than Atletico Madrid. We know they are going to demand a lot of us and that we will have to work very hard. I hope that we don’t make the mistakes we made against Atletico that cost us the game. I can see my players really focused.”

Alcacer needs to start scoring.... Also, Rafinha needs to be given minutes, for some reason Lucho sidelined him lately after a run of fantastic performances

So. Letting munir leave for paco was still the right decision? Again, me and free and Alex proven right

The issue was letting Munir leave, not getting Aclacer, but even then I doubt even then that it would have made much of a difference today

You know you're wrong and you tell me to gtfo. U mad brah?
@bc you think so? I disagree. Pacos record so far has been very poor, especially considering he is a poacher and goals are what he brings to the table.

Re: La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Malaga CF
this game missed short passes, one twos, playmaking and a player who can finish.
it was like a basketball game. everyone was crossing balls and hoping pique will score a header

I called this about few months back. It's not even that he is shit as a player but that he is the worst match for the way barca play. If Xaviesta was still at barca, Paco would easily score 15 a season. But the current barca literally have no variation. Either MSN performs or they don't. I can't remember Barcelona having this many average players. Even the pre-guardiola days at least you had the likes of Deco.

Re: La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Malaga CF
Should've rephrased that, the idea of getting a 9 was not bad, but not at the expense of letting Munir go.FennecFox7 wrote:@bc you think so? I disagree. Pacos record so far has been very poor, especially considering he is a poacher and goals are what he brings to the table.
Now whether Alcacer is the right 9 or not I agree he wasn't the best, like all of our transfer targets under Enrique he seems to love above average spanish players

It's a debate i've already had. We've all already had. He's shit, yeah, you don't have to write 1000 posts about it.
He's been scoring fairly regularly for Valencia, I don't understand what happened. Maybe if he finally gets dat debut goals then he'll start firing

Whatever happened to settling and adjusting to new teammates? Not every player gonna instantly deliver, give things a season or at least half a season, don't know where this instantly perform or your a flop mentality came from.

You can't adjust when you don't have the tools.

I never got the Paco hype before he joined us, and I deff don't get it now that he's with us. Dude will be gone in a year or 2 without a doubt.
