Wanting Mazzari the GOAT out is enough IMO.

Watford has as many points as Inter. The GOAT strikes again.

Re: De Boer Sack Watch
Reports saying that he is to meet with the board to discuss things, not being in danger just yet, but he needs results and will be evaluated on the next few games. Don't know who would be an alternative.

Re: De Boer Sack Watch
Sacking de Boer would be madness. Guy is by far the best coach Inter can hope for. Installing a philosophy takes a lot of time however so that's exactly what the club has to give him.

Re: De Boer Sack Watch
Inter fans will be able to give a better view on him. Personally he should be given more time, he has 2 easy games coming up that he has to win. 6 points would put them back on the map. Right now they are at midtable though, that can't be tolerated.

Sky Sport Italia asked de Boer point-blank if he thinks he'll be on the Inter bench on Wednesday "I don't know" he responded

Don't see Inter beating Torino at all. A draw at best.
He should be sacked honestly. Inter are 13th on the table now.
Leonardo to come in and finish the season and then Simeone in the summer. Or Blanc signed long term.

Quality signing. The coach that was promised. I predict Inter will now soar.

Media reporting everywhere that the Torino match may not matter and that De Boer is done. Its just about agreeing on his replacement, which they don't seem to settle on.

He's getting sacked for being 14th. He would have been sacked earlier if it was not for the Juve win.

Not quite friends, but former professional players and coaches, like Bruno Giordano:
""De Boer? Fin qui ha avuto poco tempo a disposizione. Un allenatore italiano sarebbe stato già sostituito"
"He's had little time" (but, ed.) "An Italian manager would have already been sacked."

Re: De Boer Sack Watch
Frank De Boer: "A new Coach wouldn't change #Inter, they'd find the same problems."
Seems like he knows his fate
rank de Boer points out he had no pre-season at Inter - “we have to try things in competitive games…”
The former defender replaced Roberto Mancini on the bench over the summer, but his first match in charge was the Serie A opener against Chievo.
“When you have more weeks to prepare for the season, you can try and find the limits of the team and prepare for the League,” De Boer explained.
“What we should have tried in friendlies we’re trying in competitive games. Now we’re finding problems which otherwise we’d have found in pre-season.
“That’s very difficult, the real problem is that we didn’t play many friendlies. Inter wanted to play a more attacking style, but it takes time to implement that.
“In time I might discover the perfect squad for that philosophy, but for now we have to accept the situation and move forward step-by-step, and at some point the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place.
“It’s not easy to do that when the League is already underway, but I accepted this situation at the beginning of the project and the club and the ownership were aware of it.
“It’s not like these problems would be solved with another Coach, another Coach would face the same problems.
“All that counts is that Suning believe in this project and we can fix the situation.
“The philosophy has always remained the same, in a lot of games we’ve played the way we wanted.
“Maybe not for 90 minutes, but against Juventus, Roma, Cagliari and Bologna I saw the Inter that I want to see more of.
“Right now we need to understand how to avoid mistakes. As far as I’m concerned it’s just a matter of time, it’s very difficult to work with 20 new players.
“A lot of them are disappointed because they haven’t played, but only 11 can take the field. You have to accept that, but even for me it’s not easy.
“I’ve said this to the team too: only 11 can play.”
It’s reported that even a win against Torino wouldn’t be enough to spare De Boer the sack…
“I don’t want to think about it, I’m just concentrating on preparing the team. After that I’ll think about the rest, I’m optimistic.
“I have faith in the team and I think they can get out of this period. The club knew it was a difficult project and they’re supporting me now.”
Seems like he knows his fate

Maybe the frequent changes are a sign of a bigger problem, the cause rather than the effect.
The root cause, that impacts both Milan teams, is mismanagement. It was Juventus' problem prior to the current regime as well.
Hire wrong manager > team dwindles in form > hire new "wrong manager" > repeat
Its easier said than done, to find the "right" manager but when was the last time Inter had a proper manager? Mourinho?
Not to mention, Mancini royally screwed Inter over by leaving last second. FDB never really had a shot without a preseason

Re: De Boer Sack Watch
The lack of preseason is big of course but you just cannot lose this many games. De Boer is out of his depth. He is too new to managing and too new to the league for this challenge.
Blanc might be good but I'd rather give the reins to a coach who knows the league well. Coming in the middle of a season you need to know exactly what you are doing without wasting time and points. Guidolin would be the safest choice.
