How good is Kolasinac? don't much about him but it looks like he might join or balkan crew if/when Evra leaves.

Very good. Still makes mistakes of course. But he's young, and defenders tend to bloom late. But he's very capable. Might be too soon for a serious move, but the kid's going to be decent enough to not embarrass himself in a good team.

Mediocre talent IMO, not a top LB - I think he could turn out into a better DM or CM!

Cool, thanks guys Thumbs up

At Juve he would be the sub of Alex Sandro for left wingback/fullback. Evra is leaving and Asamoah will likely leave.

I guess if he does come and excel he could play CM/DM but not CB probably, already 5 great ones in the team and a successor already signed (Caldara).

These votes are a joke. Hradecky outperforming Neuer week after week but still getting less votes, Forsberg being King Midas for 15 games but still behind Dembele, Kovac being completely omitted Laughing Bernhardi's bellicose psychosis-esque stuff imo.

Back just in time to make the final game of the hinrunde.  Cant wait for that month break afterwards, to get away from that cold winter weather.  That month long break that will last less than a week.

So Schalke have made the two greatest signings of the century.  The greatest defender since Berti Vogts, Holger Badsturber from bayern and the greatest Austrian Striker since Toni Polster, Guido Burgstaller, who come from Nurnberg.  I think at one time he was an International for Austria?  Honestly, not a big fan of Badsturber, find him clumsy, even for a defender and on top of that, i doubt he last two games before getting injured again.  I hope I am wrong for both his sake and Schalke's.

HSV signed that big, young, Greek kid Papadpapapopolous, who I did not realize, had gone to Red Bull from bayer at the start of the season.  I think he has potential, but i also think he fouls too much and gets too many cards.
He will probably be HSV's best player though. Maybe they should use him as a striker.

Sule and Rudy are confirmed, but not until the  summer.  I know everyone is pissing all over the signing of Sebastian Rudy, but I like Rudy, he potentially can replace Lahm.  He can play any position. Sule is a good signing, hope he get to play, maybe they will sell one of their Central defenders to China, though Sule can also play as a left back.  Apparently BVB sold Ramos to China, I think Robbie Kruse is also moving to China. does he count as Asian?

Wolsburg sold Draxler to PSG and got more money than I thought they would, he has been quite poor this season.  I think he has talent, his problem, apparently is that he is prima dona. But going to a new country and having to learn a new language and not being a top gun might humble him a bit and it all might work out for him in gay Paris?

The late great Sidney Sam is being loaned out to Darmstadt. I alsways like Sidney Sam and not just because of his cool name.

Florian Grillitsch will be leaving Werder at the end of the season,  another selling club, gladbach, will apparently sell Andreas Christensen to Chelsea in the summer.

As far as i know those are the major transfers on the kicker website. Hard to believe the league kicks of again in a few days, I cant recall if i am still standing in that standing competition?

This league is the worst league in the entirety of sport.

Who the f has a 40 day winter break just so the rwo's and the Hapless's can watch their favourite winter sport ??

Total disconnect. By far the biggest downside to this league apart from the fact that Bayern run away with the league every year. No way they're going to gain International appeal with measures such as these.

And the Germans be like 'oh but we care about the fans ! We care about those who attend games ! Those are the only ones we care about !'

Oh shut your mouth !!

IMO winter break should be a must & if need be the league should be of 18 teams like BL & not 20.

Maybe 40 is excessive but IMO it should be around 20-25 days. 7-9 days for rest, family, New year n Christmans.

And then 12-15 days to train hard in say Qatar or UAE, boost viewership plus try tactical variations, young players, play practice matches etc.

It should control injuries & help the team grow tactically. With 2 matches a week, teams barely train & get injured often.

I like the longer winter break because it helps with teams that did not have great luck with injuries to get back in shape and have another crack in the second half of the season.

iftikhar wrote:How (where) is RWO???

I'm not making this up, yesterday morning I dreamed about visiting RWO.

AFAIK the first GL dream I had that I can remember.
Obviously, I surely had many more already; but this one, as it often goes, was the last before I woke up and decided to stay up, so I remember it exists and parts of how it went; I made an effort to remember what I could of it, in order to tell you here.
Obviously this is a reconstruction of fragments, there's on the whole not much there, and recounting dreams to other people is fundamentally boring.

So what happened was that I had to visit RWO at her home for some reason - I guess it had to do with some organizational stuff about GL since she had been sick for so long.

So I travelled to wherever my mind construed that RWO lives -it is in the Ruhr area somewhere in or around Oberhausen, that much I know-; but in real life I've never been near there and on top of that in the dream the place was called Erkenschwick or something very similar lmao.

I'm not sure how I got to the Ruhrpott from Berlin, I seem to have been walking at least the latter part of the way.
When I arrived at the home (it was a house kind of like a terraced or semidetached house, yet standing alone, very white, where RWO's family lived) I was struck by the breathtaking location of it within a beautiful scenery; right in front of it, across the small road, was a glistening huge body of water, a sea-like lake of some sort, and the light was a clear, sunny kind of late afternoon, still wintery yet with an air of spring.
The snow had almost completely molten and there was grass of a healthy green visible, in contrast to the remaining layers of white and the white of the house.
(There are no huge sea-like lakes in Nordrhein-Westfalen)

So I rang the bell, was greeted by RWO and she led me to her room which was in the back of the ground floor, with windows and a door facing the garden. I complimented her on the breathtaking location and scenery of her family's house, what with the huge lake in front. I didn't meet the family, not sure whether they were home.
Obviously the situation was a bit awkward since meeting someone for the first time in real life whom you know from a online board would always be awkward, but it was actually pretty ok. I don't remember anything about her appearance really, but dark, unassuming clothing.

I can't recall much small talk or anything, next thing I was sitting in front of her computer, which had a huge professional looking display, also very white, and we had some kind of work to do with some documents, files or spreadsheets; and I had to do the typing etc because RWO was still recovering from the flu.

She had this new Windows version installed which I hadn't yet at my computer (I'm always late with this stuff), the new "Windows 8.8" , and I pretended to know stuff about it which I really didn't.
The new Windows version was giving her some trouble with drivers and freezing and such.

So while I was clicking around dealing with the unsmoothly running Windows 8.8 displayed on the huge white-framed display, RWO was sitting in an office chair a couple of meters to the left, slightly spinning around in the chair occasionally.

Not sure what else happened and what exactly I was doing at the computer, yet apparently in a moment RWO wasn't looking I had already opened a few porn tabs in the browser, and then I had to get rid of them when RWO looked again, but I wasn't fast enough and also the goddamn browser froze so I could only hide them next to another tab on top and was hoping she wouldn't notice. WTF why did I even do this, no need to open porn tabs while I'm at someone elses computer. This always happens.
And then on top the computer was now completely frozen, it will look like the porn did it even though it's just a really harmless and safe site. I sensed RWO would not be amused.

But in the end it didn't really matter, things moved on as RWO decided to get up and go out the garden door at the back left of her room while the computer was taking its time to unfreeze, no need for two people to wait with me already in front of the screen.

The computer recovered quickly, all seemed fine, and I went to check on RWO.
I was surprised to see that the room, which has been on the ground floor coming from the front, was actually a few meters above the garden level, with a slender flight of stairs running from the door opening to the left of the bay-like end of the room, along the house wall down to the outside ground.
Even more surprising and impressive was that the garden was actually a shore to another huge, glistening body of water, another imposing sea-like lake at the back of the house.
There was, from the house wall, a grass covered area of maybe 15 meters running to the beginning of the water, which looked to be immediately deep and so huge I couldn't see the other shore. There was no growth on the shore, no garden stuff or boat stage or anything, but even grass and maybe a very slim strip of pebble right at the water's edge. There was no borders to the parcel of land visible either, to the left nor right, no neighboring gardens or houses, just a grass shore as long as I could see, to the left and the right (though I never looked to the right, really), and the sea-like lake ahead.

I was standing at the top of the stairs with the shore and lake in view, and below me RWO was moving around on the grass strip between house and lake with a burst of activity that had a boisterous and daredevil air to it, understandably if you had been sick for weeks and feel well and physically able to leave the house again, coupled with the fresh and spring-like breeze and the smell of grass and water.

So now she was sportively picking up a rock of maybe the size of a volley ball, from a small heap of rocks lying next to the house wall, raised it with both arms over her head in order to throw it into the lake for fun, quite an endeavour seeing that the water was still about 10 meters of grass away.

I called to her with a slightly patronizingly half-ironical caring and parental tone, reminding her not to overextert herself since she'd still only just barely gotten over the flu, but she was already throwing the rock with full force.
It didn't seem to fly far enough to land in water, yet suddenly I realized that the edge of the lake hadn't been 15 meters away, but about 3 meters, it was right there in front of RWO and very close to the house. The rock loudly splashed into the water and I woke up.
