Granit Xhaka might have been a good bet after his two-footed tackle in the first ten mins Laughing

Not true Mole. I have never seen Sommer play, but based off the rwo hype I think he is a top 5 GK of all time.

Goddammit, Sommer was amazing-- singlehandedly won Switzerland this. Berisha was fantastic aswell despite his mistake for the goal.

Sadiku's misses though ffs

I let RWO have Sommer, just because i don't feel like being a dick. Laughing

The likes of Lichtsteiner, Rodriguez and Shaqiri are very overrated though imo.

The others don't need to be spoken about lol.

People consider him a good right back and thats exactly what he is.

Here's the decisive save by Yann Sommer in the 87th minute of the match: https://cdn.streamable.com/video/mp4/gdfl_1.mp4

The save in the 31th minute was amazing, too: https://cdn.streamable.com/video/mp4-mobile/zeps.mp4

*sighs*

Johan Djourou (whose defensive performance was rather dubious) knows whom to thank after the match:

There are reports in local papers in France (Marseille) of serbian & russian hooligan groups trying to start fights tomorrow like they did with english people against albanians.
If that is true then their ass still burns or smth, they are total idiots if they keep doing that.I know it's bad but a part of me want to see albanians contribute to add a little more burn to their ass if they ask for it Razz

I really would like the French police to arrest all of these criminal subjects, throw them into an oubliette and then forget about them...

I really hope that they will finally take the help the German police offered them to get rid of the German hooligans. Before the Germany - Ukraine match, the French police said "thanks, but no thanks" when they were offered help and the result was not so convincing.

By the way, I'm curious how France will do against Albania this time. The last two matches were an away loss in 2015 and a home draw in 2014 for France in friendly matches.

So is Griezmann... both Pogba and Griezmann have some physical issues that forced France to spend half of practice with an alternate lineup. Just depends whether Deschamps wants to risk the two or not.

Also heard that both Pogba and Griezmann told Deschamps to go frak himself after the opening game and there is some disciplinary problem with the two.

Deschamps has a history of this btw... he lost the squad at Marseille after 2 years because his communication was bad.

Damn.Coman is gonna destroy our left wing if he plays there. That's probably our weakest side considering Agolli is a 33 year old left back and quite mediocre at defending.Maybe we'll put Lenjani to help him out.Our right wing is safer with Hysaj and Lila, both being defensively better than the first two names.
Actually I see De Biasi may try a 4-5-1 very tight at the middle which doesn't get me excited.Controlling the game in the middle isn't our strongest point so we're gonna need to spread our limited ball control to both sides and avoid losing much possesion.

Btw. a albanian flag of 11.000 m2 is being displayed at Marseille's beach since it was too big to be shown on the stadium Smile

Pogba's porblem is more serious than Griezmann and his fatigue issues ... He simply doesn't fit in this team .
Moving Payet to the middle and dropping Pogba is the best move  .
