I dont think scoring hat trick against Wolsfburger will make him winner. He should do more.

I have never seen a performance so good in a CL semifinal as Der Kommandant's performance tonight. He was unstoppable. If he performs as good in the final, it's a given that he wins but even if he doesn't he should win it regardless -- based on his performance tonight.

So winning a watered down Copa America means Messi should win the Ballon? This copa america is just marketing opportunity in the states. The real one is still every 4 years in south america.

The top players will be there, but in my opinion there won't be much motivation nor much interest from the south america team.
The official champion will still be Chile regardless and that will remain until 2019.
