RG started this nonsense again. How many times have we had these Riquelme threads over the years? Laughing

Using Zidane as an example and only using assist as an example instead of being the best in a WC final and overall dominant in 2006.

Riquelme has basically accomplished nothing on a club level compared to any of the other midfielders. Had an amazing season or two in Villarreal and that was it.

Riquelme is inconsistent, he's famous for playing well in big matches but walking around against the small teams. It's a motivation issue.

It's not principles, he's notoriously hard to work with, he's picked fights at every club he's been, even with chill managers like Pellegrini.

SA football is not of low quality, it's just that North Americans and Europeans don't watch it.

xavi record statistic was well recorded, unlike riquelme, but i give a try.......his assist in the crucial matches because his team usually are not good enough like what xavi had
