Nike contract doesn't run out till 31st July. Utd tried to negotiate with them to release the clause earlier, but Nike said no.

A few loose balls here and there, largely down to an awful pitch. Other than that, I thought he did quite well.

Thanks for the video. He played decent, very nice to see him scoring his 1st United goal, which was a simple and great finish. At least he seems to finish better than the likes of Benzema or Higuain.

If he does well in front of goal and if rooney continues to be shit, hope he will take over from rooney the sole cf role thereby evacuating a spot in the team for someone who deserve more.  

He sure has that striker's mentality and finishing. Already better than that scrub Welbeck was ever for us. But then at the end of the day he will have to deliver on the pitch and fulfill the potential.

Was only against the Midgets from Denmark, but credit where credit is due, he played his best game in a Utd shirt last night.

Stepped up to the plate and showed what he can do. If he brings that sort of application and translate it into his domestic form, he'll get the fans on his side.

I'm convinced the talent is there, he just needs to fix up his attitude on the pitch.

Yet another mature performance from the lad. Seems his tenure away from the team has done a world of good for him as he appears much more grounded now than initially.
LvG or whoever it was would have told him that here he is not the player he was at PSV where he was their main man, and should work hard and theres more responsibilty to his game now, the willingness to get back and play for the team. Great to see it really.
Some of the skills and stuffs hes got in his play is unreal. Really want the lad to kick on from here.
