So, we pretty much came to the obvious conclusion that we need at least 1 more CM. So in this thread I'd like to get us to pick who we want, based on their ability and NOT their name.

So, here I present you lot with a list of players, for you to pick who you want from. I have removed the name and only give you their strengths, style of play and weaknesses. From that, I'd like everyone to pick which option they want. There will be a former player listed within there to be used as a benchmark player.

If you work out who each player is, please do not mention it in this thread, that is not the point of it. The point is to pick on ability alone.

1 does look the strongest on paper, but 5 seems to attack minded, to me.

If you have taken these of real players. I'd say 5 might be.... or.... . 1 looks like.... and maybe... without some of the defensive stats

The point of the thread is to pick on the ability, not the player so who they might be doesn't matter, it's about what they can do and what you want for our CMs.

Yes. I know I was just trying to figure which players those strengths represent. On further review 1 definitely looks the best. 3 doesn't look to bad either for the big games.

I honestly think if we were to go for two players, 1 and 2 would be ideal.


Depth would not be as much of a problem then. Even if we played 4-2-3-1 instead.

Yeah that team is perfect. Guadrado looks like the weak link though. Hope he can prove himself next year. Oscar fits the profile of player 1 to an extent. Too bad his too often unreliable.

I am sure most people can work out who is who. I was not actually keen on one of the players we now favour before doing this, so it's changed my opinion somewhat.

There is always the option to purchase a 4th out and out winger. Something I'd be very much in favour of. I'd like to see Cuadrado prove himself though.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Willian or Oscar sold.

I doubt either will, tbh.

I think getting rid of Ramires and Mikel would be overhual enough for one summer, particularly given the fact that both Willian and Oscar have been useful at points during this season.

I'm never overly concerned about free kick takers, plus, Oscar and Fabregas are decent but inconsistant.
