beIN Sports and PSG have the same owner: Nasser Al-Khelaifi. When they say Di Maria is not joining, then trust me, he is not. #mufc

Talks between #mufc and PSG have broken down for Ángel di María. [bein]

Just checked MARCA and I haven't seen anything like this.

Ok, just give me the source.
We better sign a decent GK ffs. I reckon we should go for Krul.
You haven't watched him much in last 3 years have you lol.

I agree with you, Krul wouldn't be what we need in terms of GK to replace De Gea.

Don't blame you I haven't watched much in 18 months either.
He's been quite bad apparently though, although he has been coached by John Carver so....

- Spoiler:
Pictured in Qatar ahead of his medical.
We should delete this thread now and pretend this **** didn't come to the club and contaminate the no.7 shirt with his presence.
What a waste.

Re: Ángel Di María
Unfortunately, Di Maria didn't help our team last season with much . Him wanting to leave so soon explains a lot. I am disappointed by Di Maria, a player who conquered the world in his prime.

Ran away like a coward with poor excuses, not brave enough to take up the challenge
He was never going to succeed under van Gaal's negative football though

Can some admin/mod please close this thread ?
Dont want to say another word about this guy honestly. Theres no point talking about a player who cant even give a proper explanation/farewell message to all the fans who sang his name and stood by him. So... yea thats that.
Lets pretend this never happened.

Dude please STFU. Of all the things that van Gaal has been labelled in his career, negative football has never been one. Clueless. Stick to threads about Messi's records pls.

Re: Ángel Di María
One season at United, hard times, not enough to judge LvG overall. At least give him some time because it's about a transition between generations; anyway from how I remember that Bayern in 2010, the team that went further in UCL after a clash with Man United, they didn't play negative football.

Neither did his Barcelona or his Ajax side. He might play very restrictive football in terms of players creativity and is very rigid in terms of what he wants but at his best his football is not negative at all.

Re: Ángel Di María
Yes, but somehow I fear the fact that in EPL if you want to succeed you must implement in a team more creativity in the final third. And if LvG doesn't change something it will be hard, or maybe he will prove us wrong by doing a great season even with his already known linear tactics when it comes about the offensive display.

Yes.
The no.7 shirt was vacant for a year.
Step up, Memphis.

No admins/moderators ever come here. It's a rare thing when they write here (last times it happened at my request).
PS. You'd better hurry with the predictions for the next game.

Tbh that shirt is too much of a burden. I think now people realise how special and precocious of a talent CR was.

Re: Ángel Di María
Yep. Players who wore the shirt after CR7 seemed to wear it with pressure. Even Valencia had to quit wearing the #7 shirt because it was too much pressure on him.
The #7 shirt is too commercial now, not anymore a symbol.
