The game against Montella brings back memories as when i would run the entire house with hand open careless of what people think. However its been awhile that I have to see him as opponent, a classy manager who brought back cohesion, fluidity and interrogated movement and in short  prestige back to Fiorentina. This season won't reflect their team true quality even though we have seen glimpses of that so far as they were struggling with injuries all season long. Montella however seemingly switching back to his favorite 4-3-1-2/4-3-2-1 with cuadrado dropping back and forth mainly to cover for lack of decent target man ,I wonder if he regret letting Toni go or not. Roma however have florenzi and pjanic back into the team and still missing Benatia, Strootman and Balzaretti from long term injuries. Destro added himself to that list by violating the rules that I don't want to get into that because its "referee saw it" or "referee didn't see it" kinda situation. formation predicted was 4-3-3

Have you read the preview this game out on Chiesa di Totti? They hit the nail right on the head as Fiorentina are very similar to Roma in style and in stats. We are better than them in every statistic, but marginally in some areas and unquestionable in others. They are literally our doppelgangers truth be told though.

History says we have the upperhand, but current form also says that as well.

Just need this win to lock down 2nd place and the CL group stages.

stats can be misleading if it comes without context, sure the stats are similar but the team played the same way during the season?
No fiorentina started using 3-5-1-1 and the way they played against juve was different that their game against hellas so there is radical change there

Should be an entertaining match. Roma's midfield looks as good as always and should dominate them. unfortunately Destro is suspended otherwise it would have been a perfect team.

Fiorentina will once again be without Rossi and Gomez as well. Cuadrado, Valero and Vargas the dangermen for them. We will concede at least once, that's for sure.

Let's see how Dodo does against actual talented wingers this time around. Looking for him to prove his performance against Atalanta wasn't a fluke.

Toloi pace will be examined against cuardaro and with aquilani being in a great form along with valero garcia might want to send flore instead of ljajic.

Since Borja will be Fiorentina's creative hub, it's up to DDR to shut him down. Nainggolan will have to contend with Aquilani and I think he's more than up to that task. This does leave the problem of Pizarro though, who has been underrated this season.

that was the most boring match i ever watched.Midfield battle neither side could win. Both teams lacking an striker gervinho was poor but he was all alone up front. we did break them once from midfield and there was no surprise that a midfielder could score. whatever good teams get result even on a bad day and we did just that.

Eight in a row now, even without Strootman, Benatia or Destro Ljalic on fire again, great to see him playing well again. Without Juve we would walk to the title..
