I've rated their overall careers, Owen was great but had a career plagued by injuries and was only at top level for like 3 or 4 years.

You rate the players based on their overall careers, and then put Gerrard #1? I have the same amount of league medals as him. Scholes absolutely pisses on Gerrard.

well Bale isn't english. But he is certainly on his way to become the most expensive brittish player in history if not the most expensive player in history period. He'll have to prove in time he is worth it.
