I think Mou is one of the best managers available on the market, and chances are slim that Mou will stay at Madrid, but is he overpriced? How do you justify a 20m price-tag when the next-best-thing would be completely without one?

What other choice do Chelsea have? Mou is trying to become such a nuisance that Madrid is forced to fire him and waive the breakup fee anyhow... it depends how upset Flo is with him.

I would laugh my arse off if Madrid keep him and put him as the manager of a youth team lol.

If you can afford it then hell yeah he's worth it. Closest thing you can get to guaranteed success in football right now.

it will likely be less than 20m, but 20m id say yes, its worth it to a club like chelsea who are in desperate need of a manager.

and like sports said, what other options do they have?

I think Mourinho will leave Real Madrid on his own, which means Chelsea/next club won't have to pay 20m.

you're getting a manager that has won a trophy in every season he has managed in, and reaches semis in ucl aswell every season.

i'd pay 20mil for that kind of manager, without a doubt.

20 mil for Mou is fine. But dont forget that the man needs another 80-100 mil in transfers, though thats par for the course at clubs like Chelski Thumbs up

Falcao (his reported target) is 60 Mil. I think Jose would prefer a young Defender and possibly a CM.

Also, if you look at his history, he has spent heavily in every club bar Porto.
Even with Madrid, he was moaning for a new Striker from his first season onwards. Doesn't matter about the current squad, the guy likes to have his kind of players everywhere he goes.
