2 New Scouts from City

Andy Sayer and Barry Hunter Sayer was in charge of Germany and Hunter was in charge of Italy for city.

I'm hearing Hunter supposedly was the guy that pushed for Nastasic to be signed by City. Also scouted Jovetic heavily, and had a hand in getting Balotelli.

While Sayer supposedly had a hand in bringing the likes of De Jong, Kompany, and Jerome Boateng to City.

Could possibly be really good appointments or just City's cast offs. Got no clue but kind makes me excited with the fact that one of them was in charge off scouting in Germany. There's a huge pool talent there atm and we need to dig in ffs.

As long as they didn't have a hand in the Adebayor deal...

Yeah well, coming from City, we're probably paying them big bucks, hopefully they'll help us to a few good bargains over the coming years.

So apparently we've sacked some scouts

They spent a lot of time in Southampton

Bah gawd...i have no idea what Scouts do but it surely down to the strategy set down by the Club that we have signed loads of Players instead of just signing one Di Maria type and one Falcao type

Clubs should just scout using FM ffs.

But do we really want City's castoffs when they can't even build a team to get out of the groups in Europe?

A bit baffling if we've fired scouts.

The only reason I can think of is Markovic, who has been disappointing and came from outside of England. Manquillo and Moreno have been OK and Can is looking really promising. Lallana, Lambert, Lovren and Balotelli all came from / have been playing in the Premier League and Rodgers himself should have been very well aware of their quality.

So, no really reasons to fire our scouts as a reaction to our meh start to the season and our summer transfers.

Might not just be a reaction to this season though. Most of our signings over the last few seasons have been pretty meh.

I'm glad we fired them tbh. Have shown nothing to keep their jobs.

I hope this German scout is watching Kevin de Bruyne.
