Europa League Semi-Final draw

I actually wanted to face Basel too.

I think over two legs we should win, but beating one of the other two in the final will be very hard.

We can win the whole thing, lets do this boys

I now want a Chelsea-Fener final with Kuyt scoring a 119th minute winner for French and going to wind up Chelsea fans at Amsterdam Arsenal after his goal

I may be in Amsterdam for that date

It's nice to see that everybody wants to face Basel. I read that ever so often before. ^^

BTW, Basel's greatest nemesis of the 3 is Benfica. They never looked good against them and this was the draw they feared most.

Agreed. I think the people who choose to support top, traditional clubs that will always contend for success are somewhat ungrateful regarding trophies that their club could win. I know we both support somewhat average football clubs in the grand scheme of European football, but the idea that Newcastle were close to reaching the semi-final and could have had a chance of winning, yet lost, is unbearable. I remember in 2010 when we had our run to the final; it was great for all of us. The 4-1 win against Juventus was without a doubt the best match I've ever seen at the Cottage and it all was ruined by Forlan.

He's basically the only reason why it's Chelsea's to lose lol. He's basically the only one that has convinced your players to actually turn up and try and win it. And you can hate him all you want, but his tactics in Europe are spot on.

Forlan ruins absolutely everything. His goal against us at Anfield in the semi-final continues to haunt me. Classy player, though. Even if he did play for the Mancs...
