'Yakovenko in talks with Italian clubs'
Agent of Anderlecht midfielder Oleksandr Yakovenko has admitted that his client's future could be in Italy.
The 25-year-old has been linked with moves to Sampdoria and Fiorentina in the past, and his representative has conceded that a Serie A sides have been in contact regarding a summer transfer.
“At the moment we are concentrating on Anderlecht,” Andrei Golovash told dhnet.be. “The team is in contention for a title, so we will not talk about his future.
“But, having said that, there has been some contact from Italian clubs.”
Yakovenko has been in superb form this season for the Belgian team, scoring seven goals in 20 League appearances.
