OH MY Forgot Kuyt and Masch completely. Kuyt would definitely be in the top 30. Masch probably in the top 50 somewhere.

The new list is out all the way up to 8. Some are very surprising, like Dudek ahead of Reina. Keegan dropping down pretty low. Agger is way too low. Garcia and Beardsley are pretty low. Kuyt probably snuck in a little too high.

The top 7 are obviously going to be chosen from these guys: Gerrard, Kenny, Barnes, Rush, Fowler, Suarez, and Carra

WOW Barnes is 7th WOW WOW This is unbelievable. There's no way Luis deserves to be that high with only 2.5 seasons with us.

Suarez ahead of players who have made 700 appearances for the club

Guys don't even bother too much with this list. There is a great bias towards recent players, as many new fans prob just voted who they know best. Luis hasn't even earned a top 10 place, it's beyond a joke.

This is just sad, there should absolutely be no debate that the 5 greatest players in our club history are Kenny, Gerrard, Rush, Fowler, and Barnes.

Also, I'm certain they determine picks by the "wow factor". Luis Suarez does get people out of their seats. It won't be long before Coutinho is in the top 20, either.

People today have seen much more of Luis/Gerrard/Carra because they've played in the "present" time. The new generation of fans (and that's me included although I haven't been voting) have not seen the likes of Barnes and Keegan and all them live so it's only natural for them to pick the players playing today and players they've seen live.

For example. Torres was a great player for us. Better than great, actually. But is he the 9th best player to ever play for this club? Definitely not.

Jamie has been a great servant for this club. But has he been the best defender to ever play for the club?

Suarez should have never been in the top 10 in the first place.

Is this a ploy to keep him at the club?

Most likely means Rush is third. It'll be interesting too see who gets first Stevie or Kenny

Think Kenny got it last year, no? Stevie's turn this year.

Yeah Kenny was 1st in the last list, but that was backin 2006 and Stevie had barely entered his prime.

Yeah, they'll definitely give it to Stevie I think.

Djibril Cisse & Jerzy Dudek are in the becuse  2005 UEFA Champions League Final, would they be in there if we did not win big ears ?

I love Stevie, but Kenny deserves number 1.

It's debatable. Both make perfect cases for that top spot. If you asked Kenny he'd say Stevie, and if you asked Stevie he'd say Kenny.
