Juve trio miss out on FIFPro World XI
Andrea Pirlo, Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini have all missed out on the FIFPro World XI for 2012.
The award, voted for by 50,000 members of the professional footballers' association, recognises the best XI in world football with one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers all being voted in.
The Juventus trio were all shortlisted for the award, alongside Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, but none of them have made the cut, with the entire team being represented by La Liga.
Real Madrid's Iker Casillas was deemed the best goalkeeper, with teammates Sergio Ramos and Marcelo making up the backline alongside Barcelona duo Gerard Pique and Dani Alves.
Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta made up the midfield, with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Radamel Falcao leading the line.

Marcelo really?

Re: Juve trio miss out on FIFPro World XI
Barzagli, Pirlo and Buffon should be in there.
Half the defence that conceded the least goals in a major league should be there. But none atall? FIFA need to stop sleeping with LaLiga, it really is a joke.
