What's up with Career Mode? Kept freezing on me whenever I tried to play the Spanish Super Cup, had to simulate it and ended up losing to the diving cheats :facepalm:

I recently bought Neymar, Lahm and De Rossi also

Looking to put Chiellini on the bench and go with a back 4 of:

Lahm-Ramos-Varane-Marcelo

Got 2 WC DM's in Yaya and De Rossi for DAT steel in the midfield, they probably won't play alongside each other much though, will throw in Modric or Isco if I play a double pivot alongside one of them

Neymar will take Di Maria's spot on the wing..

So why is it that Monaco already has Falcao, Rodriguez, Moutinho, and Carvalho. But Madrid still lacks Isco and Carvajal, and players like Callejon are still there.

Is there an update to fix this or does EA not release updates for big clubs to avoid having people stay on one version and not get the new game?

the way i wanna play is having possession of the ball (not in an exagerrated way like Barca) but i wanna finish games 55-45 in my favor around. a lot of shots on goal, a lot of playing time in the offensive zone. i want A LOT OF MOVEMENT with my forwards, making beautiful runs either down the flanks or through the middle. i dont wanna be stuck passing side to side with my mids.

so what do u guys suggest me? im open to formations, and even custom tactics like movement,passing,shooting etc etc. give me some tips on what seems to be good for you. i can adapt Razz

It depends really. Most people say 4-2-3-1 is the best balanced formation but i hate 4-2-3-1. Can never play in it.

I have made many custom formations for myself. I usually play with a 4-3-3. I think it will suit your attacking play with plenty of possession. You can have a lot of movement from the players if you are making it custom. The default formations are a bit meh in terms of movement unless you get it from Madrid's default formation or Dortmund's. You can just save it as your own.

It also depends if you are playing it online or the manager mode btw.

Taking UT seriously on the ps3

All I play is online seasons

Out of 50odd games I have 2 losses, one was my starter team because I was broke and 1 was a DC In division 3.

Won Div 1 every time, twice doing a clean sweep of 7-0-0

It's getting easier and easier as I improve my team. Instead of my 15k squad I have a back line of Chiellini - Ogbonna - Gamberini. Stupidly good.

Llorente scored about 40 goals in 34 games for me, poaching animal.

I've been playing some disgustingly OP teams too. 91 TOTS Reus and all that.

A good formation for player movement is 4-2-3-1. The wingers in a 4-3-3 just stand there out wide. In a 4-2-3-1 they come inside etc. The wingers also track back in a 4-2-3-1, unlike a 4-3-3/4-2-1-3.

Because the wingers come inside, the fullbacks usually overlap too in a 4-2-3-1. Which results in a lot of options attacking wise.

In terms of custom tactics, try 'risky' for chance creation and free form for positioning.

do u guys suggest me to use arrows on some players when i edit a formation? what i mean by arrows is this. how would u guys suggest i put my arrows (if any) for my 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3?? do i put some attacking arrows on my fullbacks? defending arrows? BOTH?? what about my 2 in front of my D? and my 4 attackers? same thing for my 4-3-3 should i or no??

and also, i can also choose player by player who i want to see attack (for att) and Defend (for D) more (BLUE) who i want to be more balanced (yellow) and weak (red). does it make a difference? if no screw that, if yes, well once again would do u suggest me for 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3

i know some of you are probably like omggg this guy is annoying and sucks LOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLL im sorry i usually dont ask very many questions :Pand i promise these are my last 2 questions for this topic :Pand i actually dont suck at fifa at all, its just that im not the best and there is no shame in learning a few tips from people who r the best Smile

I've been using a 4-3-1-2 and that seems to work pretty well.

I've never tweaked too much with arrows or custome set pieces. I will most def toggle between balanced, ultra attacking, and ultra defensive.
