On current form Carvajal and Azpi should definitely be starters for Spain.

Alba will get the nod over Azpi surely. Form doesn't mean much to Del Brosque I don't think, that's why Torres keeps making the cut somehow.

Iñigo has been the best Españole CB in La Liga and it's not even close. But of course since only Madrid and Barça players exist for GL you won't notice superior Españole's have been far better than the Pique's Ramos' and Carvajal's.

Iñigo is indeed slow and may be rash at times yet his reading of the game, awareness and offensive play from the back has been 2nd to none as I don't know which player you've been watching who's carried La Real's defence on his back.

Simply put there has not been a better Spanish CB this season as Pique-Ramos have not been near as good.

What defence?? Inigo and the rest of that defence are all poor, Zurutuza is the only shining light in that backline

Funnily enough there aren't many good spanish cbs to choose from as most top laliga teams have foreign cbs and the ones lower down have 30 year old washed up scrubs playing for them

I think Laporte has been good although his positioning and ball playing ability is a little suspect (is he spanish?)

Zurutuza isn't even a DM, Hala. Since Ansotegi has been benched there has been no defensive cover and Iñigo has been their only source of protection from some embarrassing collective mistakes which is why all of España praises him.

Laporte is excellent in both the traits named yet is susceptible to pacy players and has poor concentration. He is French-Basque unfortunately.

Again I say this guy has been really good. Hes improved so much that defense and pretty much completed it this season, stopping so many top class oppositions and at the same time, able to help attack so often too, top RB.

In so many cases, players dont perform that well in their first season, but he has absolutely, much credit goes to Ancelotti again, pretty much everyone who came in has done that.

No it isn't. Most of the time he gets forward his crossing is always a let down. He is very FAST, but his final ball is not very good. Decent fullback. Will become very good. His burst of pace is something else tbh. Can't remember seeing fb this quick, can't think of one off the top of my head atm.

he will improve but right now hes average. gis positioning is shat but excellent 1v1 due to his pace
