Corinthians dominate Millionarios.. oh boy I can't wait for the Xolos game.

Flu also get an important win, away in Chile against Huachipato.

Boca in Guayquil return to form as they see off comfortably, Barcelona.

and Iquique! with the 2-0 win over Emelec.

Gremio with a 4-1 whooping of Caracas last night. Top Flight Brazilian teams seem to be one or two notches ahead of the rest of the competition so far.

Flu face Huachipato tonight, while Corinthians travel to Tijuana to face Xolos on their synthetic turf field.

Toluca draw at home, while Sao Paulo also draw at home and Atletico-MG win against O Forte of Bolivia.

right now, if the group stages were to end, only ONE club from Argentina would progress, while FIVE from Brazil would progress and two from Mexico would progress.

Dis domination.

OH AND CONMEBOL HAVE REVOKED THEIR PUNISHMENT ON CORINTHIANS. CORINTHIANS ARE NOW ALLOWED TO HAVE THEIR FANS ATTEND HOME AND AWAY GAMES.

Xolos about to lose hard.

Tijuana Laughing

And now they come crashing back down to reality that they're nothing but Turf Babies.. nothing good about that team that warrants them to be better than we Corinthians.

My friend is a big fan of the South American football. Is this tournament harder than any footballing competition in Europe? I feel it might not be as European football is superior. Please enlighten me and forgive me for my ignorance. TY

a notch above the EL which is pretty mediocre, and a notch below the Champions League.. probably the second hardest continental tournament in The World behind the CL.

Okay this is becoming a recurring theme with Argentine teams in Brazil...

First it was Tigres in Sao Paulo.. NOW ITS ARSENAL DE SARANDI IN BELO HORIZONTE!! FFS Learn to phucking behave. What are with these Argentine teams.. swallow your pride. Okay I understand you're getting owned really really bad right now by Dinho and company, but why do they insist on getting butthurt about it and kicking our players and then starting fights with our police?? I don't understand it.. THEN THEY PROCEED TO BLAME IT ON US as if we started this whole thing.. like what Tigres did.. give me a break.. These teams need to learn how to act and learn how to cope with these embarrassing losses in another manner. It's becoming annoying and painting our nation in poor manner. Have some class and dignity.

Ronaldinho's goal today against Arsenal de Sarandi in their 5-2 drubbing of the Argentine side.

Toluca fall to Nacional 4-0 in Uruguay and with this result it seems as if Toluca is eliminated from Copa Libertadores.. Laughing

Tijuana and Corinthians have qualified through to the next round, but with Corinthians in first place now after their win in Colombia and Xolos draw in Bolivia. One game left, Corinthians at home against San Jose and Xolos at home against Millionarios. Mexican teams.. oh boy.

Only one game left in the group rounds.. this should be interesting.

4 Brazilian teams as of right now would be progressing, which is the most of any nation in this tourney.

Atletico-MG and Flu on to the next round!!!!

Two Brazilians in.. 3 more play their passage to the Quarters next week.

Gremio travel to Sante Fe, Colombia up 2-1 in the aggregate scoreline, while Palmeiras host Tijuana after leaving Mexico with a scoreless draw, and finally the Clash Of The Titans face-off in E Pacaembu with Boca up 1-0 on a very slim scoreline against defending champs, Corinthians.
