New Cicinho taking la liga by storm

Most noticed him against RM, but i watched about 3 sevilla games so far this season, vs Getafe, vs RM and last night vs Deportivo last night, and this kid is fantastic.
what a player, great little RB, his attacking potential is enormous, but that's not everything he does. He fights for the ball, does his best to track back, his size doesnt advantage him in the air but he is having a great start this season. Definitely one to watch

Yes he is 26, but he is looking good so far in la liga.
I had never heard of him before, i would assume brazilian fans here know him.

Only know him from fifa. I heard he did great against Ronaldo though but haven't seen anything.

I have also watched him for the first time with Sevilla,never really followed him here in brazil,looks impressive.he fits well with navas

I think he perfectly demonstrates how important it is to be mentally cool.
He didn't give a flip about playing against Ronaldo. No intimidation whatsoever. He just kept focus on the ball throughout the match and didn't let anything disturb him.

Great point. Seen loads of players just crumble based on who they playing against rather than what they actually do.

Case in Point- Van Der Wiel at the Euros.
On Cicinhio - I've watched 2 games and he was fantastic in both. I'll be monitoring as the season progresses, but he's another guy we should seriously look at. Wouldn't be surprised if we bought someone in January so I hope he's on the radar.

Van Der Wiel is crap but the way he approached that game with such an inferiority complex...it looked as if he himself didn't feel as though he belonged on the same pitch.
He just backed down and let Ronaldo do whatever he wanted , I hate defenders like that, it remided me of Silvestre a couple years back against you guys.

Yeah thats probably true. He did have the lost of someone who knew an ass rape was coming and fully accepted it lol

Because he was playing for relegation bound Palmeiras. He was the talk of the Brasileirao around this time last season as our saving grace RB along with Mariano before he left for Bordeaux.
