Stop living in a dream world..... 1. Liverpool cant afford him 2. he's not going to join a team who is worse than the one he already plays for.

3.Liverpool are not as relevant as they once was, stop thinking they are if they were Sigurdsson would'nt have even considered Tottenham.

Also Le Sam i said he is'nt good enough, i never said he's on the level of Downing Laughing

Just like Downing he is'nt good enough, funny how only Liverpool fans seem to rate Henderson and the rest laugh at the suggestion he's considered a professional footballer.

Not really because we will still finish 8th Laughing this has nothing to do with Newcastle we know we are nobodies ....

I'm sorry you cant accept the fact that you are no longer a force in English football but someone has to stop the delusion Laughing

The thing with Liverpool that annoys me is the sense of entitlement most of you seem to have.... you think you have a divine right to finish in the top 4, you think you can attract any player you want because you are Liverpool FC.

There's a reason you have never won the Premier League since its inception, stop living in the past ffs.

I'm fully aware Liverpool fans will come back and say what Newcastle done bla bla bla..... the difference is we dont have a sense of entitlement and we know we have done nothing unlike Liverpool fans who talk about things that happened before they was born Laughing

Also id argue last season was a little bit better than decent season and no one thinks we are the best in the league at anything and quite frankly would be likely to finish top 6 next season.

Lol, Ill be the first person person to accept we are nothing more than a average mid table football team which gets results against the big boys right now.

All your so called points become irrelevant right there, Go with those points to a person who actually thinks Liverpool is still a top4 team.

Liverpool will still be a big club even if they finish 20th. The history, big club atmosphere, big targets will always remain. Those are the things that might attract players. If Liverpool finished 8th, Everton finished 7th for example and both clubs are fighting for a player, then I'm sure that player would join Liverpool.

Of course he would.... Everton have no money Laughing

The amount of targets Liverpool have been turned down by already is telling enough imo, these players would'nt have rejected Liverpool 2 years ago.

The longer they stay away from CL spots the harder it will be as well and its not like they are going after CL level players either they are after EL level players atm and not succeeding.

History, big club atmosphere and all that doesn't have as big a factor as you think.

You just have to look to see how long it took Juventus to get back to the top again to see how difficult it is.

Hell you can look at Newcastle as well, it took us a decade to get back into contention again.

Liverpool will be back, but it will take a long time.... there's no short fix here and with the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, City, Man U and Arsenal always improving its only going to get more difficult as time goes on.

This is one of the reasons you have to respect how brilliant Ferguson and Wenger are at what they do, no matter what happens they are always in the CL.

They deserve immense respect.

The back 5 for Liverpool is up there with the top teams in the World. So is Gerrard and Suarez. Juve signed Vidal and it changed them. If Liverpool can sign someone similar, then it could even be a title challenge imo.

They will need a lot more than that..... even with a finisher Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, City and Man U are comfortably better.

I wont talk about us just to avoid the pointless debates.

I think they can atleast challenge for a top 4 spot with a better striker. But i agree with the rest of what you said, more or less.
