Re: Quotes of Goallegacy
Hoof means direct nowadays, albeit putting a derogatory slant on it, going back to front very quickly with little elaborate play. Not just kicking 60 yards in the air
I'd say city hoof a lot, given the way they play straight to the forwards who drop off rather than building through the midfield. In the game that I watched this season at least.

Quote of the year.Grooverider wrote:this guy could easily fetch over 80millions if one of the big boys came sniffing around for his signature but i dont believe barcelona would want to sell and messi seems content in staying in the spanish capital. Sometimes players want to stay at a club for 10 plus years without a move much like maldini and owen.
it would still be a huge risk in signing him as he is only used to playing in the liga and another style of playing might take time to adapt too.

Hamsik played like a cf so I think he is getting dropped for Martinez. as for behrami being on his own.....he wont both wingers drop back and help out and then you have a hardworker like higgy as a striker and you won't find the difference
halamadrid2 wrote:me no smokeGreat Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Hamsik on the bench? please pass what your smoking Hala
Even if they did go 4-4-2 which i think is stupid personally.
Hamsik and Inler would be the CMs.
the fact that benitez played him in a forward position as opposed to cm suggests he is not counting on him as a cm but a ss which he wont be when the new striker comes
Beautiful.'Halarious'.halamadrid2 wrote:new coach new ideas thats a starter do you see carlo playing the same formation like mourinho or even has the same set up?? lol
if they are to play a 4-4-2 formation they need a cm who is a good passer and helps out defensively does hamsik fit that?? to benitez he supposedly doesn't or else he would have made him get used to it by playing him there get it
secondly benitez is getting martinez to start not come off the bench lmfao
this isn't what in your opinion should happen but what WILL happen. we don't need bale but we will still buy him. same applies here hamsik is a great am but benitez will bench him in favour of a ss

juventus101 wrote:Exactly. Croatia has alot of class and a real fighting spirit. Spain and Italy ended up being the 2 finalists in the Euro and Croatia almost advanced in a group with both of them. Honestly, even Brazil or Argentina probably wouldnt have advanced from that group either.

Re: Quotes of Goallegacy
What point is there to prove How Brazil and Argentina are better than Croatia? That's like asking to explain how Juventus are better than Fiorentina. Brazil and Argentina both have better players than Croatia, their form is excellent and both of them are performing very well as a team. And I guess they also have "fighting spirit", seeing how they beat a lot of good teams
