Falcao because of star power... But Rami and Adrian had huge impact as well.

One thing Che... Valencia are playing Rami completely wrong. He actually is best when he stays back. You're taking away his defensive effectiveness by asking to move up so much. Also, the remaining 3/4 of the defense are pretty shat. Need at least another CB. Finally, he's overplayed. I think he started 61 games for you guys this year. That's the reason he burned out the last 6 weeks.

Adrian to be honest. The man was terribad for Deportivo, like really awful. A move to Atletico and he has technique and dribbling ability and a more than likely a ticket on the plane to Euro 2012.

Rami comes in a close second. He isn't an Ayala (no one is really) but Valencia's defensive structure really depended on his presence. Only one there that has some brain on him (Abelda still has it but he has lost his legs).

And third for me, Falcao. Because he already had a reputation as a good forward, it really is not that shocking he had a good season. As Che wrote, best finisher in La Liga and Europa.

that's emery's insistence on playing a high defensive line... plus his inability to tell rami to knock off the stupid runs he makes twice a game when he just loses the ball constantly

and he sort of had to be overplayed, half fit rami is still better than fully fit dealbert...

Adrian was never really a terrible player tbh. I saw the potential in him in the U-22's. Better than Soldado now surely, IMO.
