Can someone finally admit that RDM>>>>>>>>AVB

Lets put aside this silly John Terry as Chelsea manager joke.

RDM has pretty much proven how at the moment he is tactically and managerially ahead of AvB who everyone seems to dote upon here.

Is it because he is Italian?

Is it because he is winning for fun?

RDM, 1 Loss in 15 games = BAWS

AVB does not impress me at all. If he only can do one style of football he can GTFO, being one dimensional is not a good coach to me

Why is he better? AVB tried to bring in a new system and end the current cycle. The players didnt like it.

RDM basicly went back to the old tactics.

How is this relevant? Mourinho actually impressed in every single level. AvB was poor at best.

Grant had laughably easy group in his CL.

He had olympiacos, Fenerbache and Liverpool (this one being the only tough draw).

RDM's team prevailed under a 3-1 agg from Napoli. Went through a strong Benfica and Convincingly beat Barcelona.

Did I mention he did it with a team worse than Grants? Along with the fact that these players are pretty much past their prime?

Dissecting the tactics, while RDM actually has some tactical knowledge on his subs and on field tactics while AvB's were piss poor and naive. Who said AvB brought a new system? Their football was just as bad as it is now under RDM in terms of style.

Cr7 is now better than messi, Leo is a choker, utd are average, pep is overrated, the assistant manager of Chelsea is a tactical genius etc etc

Fair enough but us and West Brom walked the league that year...... point still stands they were going down under him before he was sacked and Hodgson saved them.

As for West Brom, the EXACT same logic can apply for RDM.

RDM actually tried to play a great brand of football for West Brom as even a large majority of fans did not want him to leave.

Roy on the otherhand is playing english style football yet is using the squad for what they can actually perform.

Lets not forget Roy had an influx of some more capable players compared to RDM who had a massive injury crisis and did not possess the same squad.

Only a poor run of form destroyed his chances yet the fans and pundits alike still admired his West Brom for their football and big game mentality
