Porto coaching vacancy...
is it just me, or does anyone else see this as a gold mine?
most likely AVB will be able to take a couple players with him to Chelsea and a couple others might go elsewhere, but there's still an amazing level of talent that will be there. I dont think that there will be a mass exodus of players from there.
also, whoever gets the job will get that highly coveted Champion's league football action.
plus their future is still very bright, with most their starters being below the age of 26 or so, and young talents like james bond (rodriguez), and newly signed argentine wonder iturbe.
that vacancy just seems pretty appealing to me, idk.

They should get another coach who has never played football before.

To be a Special one you have to be a protege of Sir Bobby Robson(R.I.P) and i doubt there is any of those left.

Chelsea should pick up Joao Moutinho of all players from Porto, they really need a play maker in their mid field.

Yh i heard he saw Vitor Pereira at the age of 21 over 20 years ago. The lad was english speaking just like Villas-Boas and had an eye for tactics aswell.
Bobby found this appealing and took him under his wing but kept it a secret so his legacy as a coach talent spotter would exist decades after his passing.
I hear there's many more Sir Bobby protege's out there in Newcastle, Catalunya, Eindhoven, OPorto, Lisbon and Ipswich.
What an amazing man.....
