EL Classico in final? Empty EL Classico in final?

Post by dwaynejohnson28 Sun Apr 22, 2012 8:44 am

how do you rate the chances of Barcelona and Madrid against their opponents?

Anything beside an EL Classico imo will be a catastrophy imo. Bayern have never reallly played attractive football, and neither Chelsea. They aren't the strongest teams either, so i really hope Real and Barca does what is expected next week.

the world want's the El CLassico, but what are chances of it happening?

Can Madrid and Barca do the job?

If you're talking about wanting a beautiful final then it should be anything but Barcelona because we'll be seeing the buss parked again ...

and ur telling me Chelsea wouldn't park the bus against either bayern or real? Laughing

what about Barca vs Bayern? if Bayern don't park the bus, they have no chance but getting butt repped 7-0

barcelona and madrid are the strongest teams in the world, so let them face each other.

I'm just saying that if you want attacking football on both sides you need Barca out .... in the end whatever final it's going to be it doesnt matter . If you're the best it doesnt mean you're granted to go to the finals ... the teams with the most of luck will go through ...

No chance, Chelsea are already in the final.

RDM is like Podolski, but better.

lol Chelsea has no chances, u guys were so lucky it didn't finish 3-1 in the first leg...in Camp Nou it's a different story though.

i really liked Chelsea to progress, since my lil bro is a diehard chelsea fan, but Barcelona is too strong for Chelsea and will destroy Chelsea 4-0 in the Nou Camp

This tells me you don't watch Bayern, but only saw them in the semi against Real.

all I know is that I dont want Chelsea anywhere near that final

they came to the Emirates and parked the bus when they needed to win to get back into the top 4 places..... and then were some how so happy about the point

whilst Newcastle went and won and increased the gap lol

I will be a very pissed off man if I see a CL final where one team just 100% refuses just to play and I can see Chelsea doing that against either Real or Bayern

yes we were going to go and attack with a second string team. Rolling Eyes

our main focus now is the CL so there is a good chance we will be in Munich for the final

What remote cave did you crawl out of? I assume it must've happend very recently.

Bayern have totally lost the entire ability to park the bus over the past 3 seasons. :vagi:

Which doesn't mean they are not defensively solid. They only let in 21 goals in 32 BL matches and 8 goals in 11 CL matches so far.

Post by rwo power Sun Apr 22, 2012 10:30 am

BTW, I just calculated the goals per match rate for the 4 semi finalists for league+CL:

Bayern: BL: 21/32, CL 6+2=8/11: 29/43 = 0.67 goals/match
Barca: Liga 26/34, CL 4+4=8/11: 34/45 = 0.76 goals/match
Real: Liga 30/34, CL 2+6=8/11: 38/45 = 0.84 goals/match
Chelsea: PL 38/34, CL 4+5=9/11: 47/45 = 1.04 goals/match

Considering that Bayern one time went against ManCity with a second string team where they got 2 goals against, their numbers are actually pretty good for the CL, too. So it is rather unlikely that Real will shoot Bayern out of the Bernabeu with a high margin. ^^

Anyone who believes Madrid will shoot Bayern out of the Bernabeu with a high margin is delusional lmao.

We believe we can win, but we're not expecting it. We know Bayern is a opponent capable of knocking us out.

I got a similar expectation, except that I still think that Madrid will go through, outdoing a 2-1 win at home is entirely possible, but it'll be close. Probably win 1-0 or something like that. I'd say 3-1, but scoring 3 against Bayern would be incredible already, it's all just very tough to predict. But I somehow got this looming feeling that Madrid is going to make it.

Chelsea will park the bus when needed to, attack when needed to. U saw against Napoli we scored 4 goals, no? When it comes to results, tactics are needed + this is knockout so we cant take a risk with trying stuff.

thats exactly what should have happened. play a game like that 10 times and at least 8 or 9 times chelsea will get demolished.

I'm sure that Bayern will scoer at least once at the Bernabeau. I truly think it will end 2-2 or 1-1 in Madrid which is just enough. I still believe that Barcelona will advance though.

However I don't understand where 7-0 comes from or Bayern doesn't play entertaining football. It's just complete nonsense.
