what exactly is the difference between mw and black ops anyway lol? different guns and slightly different hud, big deal... it even uses the same engine for god's sake

I don't care if a game is a direct sequel or not, games should always be looking to improve and that type of mentality is why Call of Duty gets away with this nonsense. For 60 games a piece, I would like if the games I purchased to actually make some sort or improvements to the overall game and or gameplay.

Black Ops 2 will be released this year, and I bet it will have the same graphics as 2007's Modern Warfare, a 5 hour campaign and a multiplayer with some new guns

Even though I never finished the BO campaign, my mate said that there can't really be a sequel to the campaign because they just about wrappe it up

I'm personally hoping for a brand new CoD title and have a somewhat futuristic theme to it. It would be a good chance for the CoD developers to design new perks, weapons, killstreaks and maybe take some ideas from early CoD games and put vehicles back into the game.

There's more room for overall improvement in a game series like GTA. I get what you're saying, though. Each new installment in the MW series offered very little, in terms of improvement and diversity. The thing is, though, a great deal of people are content with new maps and weapons, which is why they are able to release a new game every other year. The same thing applies to the FIFA series, and basically, all of EA's sports games that come out every year. If anything, all they need to fix each year is bugs. There's very little difference between FIFA 10-12.

I disagree. I think there was a big difference between Fifa 10 and Fifa 11; same goes for Fifa 11 and Fifa 12. I'm not the only one who feels this way in my group of friends.

I can't say the same for the Call of Duty series and they have no excuse (they have more time in between series) and still fail to make much (if any) changes.

I feel that there was practically no difference between FIFA 10 and 11, and all of the people I have talked to about it, have had the same impression. FIFA 12 fixed some previous bugs and introduced -a few- new features, but it still feels like a patched version of FIFA 11, in my opinion. FIFA 09 to 10, however, was a revolution in the genre football/soccer game, which is why I didn't include FIFA 09. What I look forward to in every new FIFA game these days, is the new soundtracks and 'awesome' interface changes

Things like tactical defending and 'be a referee, goalie, supporter, jetplane' or whatever, don't really make me jump out of my seat in excitement. And neither do new map packs and weapons in Call of Duty, but hey.. these games come out every year because the customers make it possible, so what can we expect? I still think it's fun to play these two game series, but the gamplay gets very linear/repetetive/boring after a while. Feel free to say that one makes less of an effort to add diversity to the game than the other, but at the end of the day, neither of them are doing a particularly good job at it.

I got 42/3/3 in TDM with Model 1887 (damage proficiency). Beat that!

I have to admit, though.. Killstreaks and noobs make it pretty easy to get good K/D ratios. Striker may be the overall best shotgun in the game, but somehow, getting kills with model 1887 feels more rewarding.

That setup wouldn't work for me. I'm a super aggressive drop-shotter Quickdraw and Steady Aim are necessary for me to play the way I want to; match stats and things like K/D ratio and accuracy come second.

I've been using a weapon class with Model1887(damage proficiency) and RPG + C4 lately. Perks: SoH, Quickdraw and Steady Aim. I bet people hate me for running around with a bazooka on my back all the time, but I'm having so much fun with this setup. If you know how to use these weapons well, you can efficiently use them in all game modes.. and it's damn fun!

Damn you guys are beasts. I can't get any consistency going. If I stop playing for a day, takes me too long to get my reflexes and game back.

I'm still pretty amateur (it is my first CoD game), and was so shit at the beginning that its taking me ages to get my K/D back up to something respectable.

I've really been getting into sniping lately. I'm thinking of prestiging and only using the MSR and playing mainly hardcore domination and ground war. I seem to get the best kill feeds in these game modes.

I think my best scores yesterday were 48-6 (w assault killstreaks) and 60-25 (hardcore domination w UAV and ballistic vests only)
