Marchisio is world class, and would start in any midfield in the world.

Bayern Munich are the best team in the world.

Podolski is better than Van Persie, and should start for Arsenal ifhe goes there.

Germany are by far the best national team in the world.

Schweinsteiger is the most complete overall player in the world, and when on form, is second only to Messi.

Matri is an excellent striker who has had a rough season so far, but is still regularly scoring goals so I dont see the need for a new striker unless its a creative one, not a finisher.

Chiellini is the second best CB in the world, second only to an on-form Vidic.

Di Maria is incredibly overrated and shouldnt be a starter for Real Madrid. On that same note, either Khedira or Sahin should start in midfield next to Alonso, NOT Diarra, Granero, or Coentrao.

Barcelonas attack is very overrated and is carried by Messi. Without him they would be completely dominated by Madrid and would never have won those CLs or even gotten to the finals, though the refs also helped them alot. Pique, Busquets, and Abidal are also very overrated. Busquets and Pique so much so, plus the fact that Barca favors their homegrown talent no matter what, that Busquets starts over Mascherano, which is a joke.

Roberto Baggio was the best player ever.

Ronaldinho in his prime was better than Messi.

Neymar will never be as good as Messi. The only one with the potential to be on his level in my opinion is Mario Gotze.

Torres can still be great, in my opinion his confidence is just shot, and he also needs a different system, but hes still great.

This Barcelona team is among the Top 5 teams in the world, but NOT by any means the best. The Juventus from around 2003 would beat it, as well as Sacchi's Milan.

Also, I agree with the one post about football now not being anywhere near the same level as it was in the 90's-Early 2000's, even the mid to late 80's.

Penalty kicks should not count towards a goal scorers tally .. They can be counted towards victories but that's it..

If player A scored 30 goals but with 10 penalties while player B scored 21 open play goals how is it right to not put player B ahead in the race for the scoring title?
