Oh please, as much as I hate the poor defending of La Liga players, the Brasilia league is far inferior in defending, and Messi was raping people in CL at the age of 19.

Messi wasn't not nearly as much of a scorer at 19 compared to when Pep came in and that's all these stupid goal.com comparisons are about, goal stats

Its not that the la liga defend is shit its the style, as opposed to Seria A, La liga is much faster paced and much more attacking, in the other hand Serie style is more calming and therefore I see it as being boring.

Who cares about a 19 year old Messi vs Neymar. What matters is how they will end their careers. Taking a top player and saying he was worse than a certain player at a particular age shows nothing and means nothing.

Dont kill me for this but I think Neymar is very underrated
He is an excellent dribbler and shooter with both feets (according to Pele and some random youtube video
)
He is not a winger because he is not creative enough (according to the matches ive seen in copa america) but as a striker he would probably be second only to messi or at least top 3 and will prove it when he arrives in Europe

I don't think anybody will kill you. Most people in this forum seem to agree that he is a great player. Actually I even think that he does possess the creativity required to play on the wings.
The only issue people have claimed is that despite his potential he really has not had the chance to prove himself in the best leagues so It's a bit early to be comparing him with established players.

And as good as Goal.com is often, this comparison is wayyy off. Some of the ratings given to Messi's attributes are a joke, LOL! So low....they just make it close to make it more interesting
