I honestly think you're going to miss him, even if De Gaea or whoever comes along. VDS was perfect for United. You guys are losing a lot of experience next year, but there's still plenty to go around.

All great things come to an end, will miss him for eternity. True legend. A goalkeeper of his stature should of never played for a club like Fulham (no disrespect) but now is time for a new era. Our future defense looks amazing, so it is still truly exciting times for United fans. It's hard to imagine De Gea to be as good but lets knock him down before he has even started.

VDS was calm under pressure, came up with amazing saves, and was mistake free.

Whether it was a pass back or a shot I always knew he would get to it.

He oozes class from every pore on his body.

I hope he will be there for Scholes memorial, as it should be his too.

2011 was a great year, but also a very sad one and I fear Giggs may be the next one.
