He scored13 sick goals last season and had a shitload ofassists, and if he keeps going like this, hell have even more this season. Anyone that actually thinks Schurrle or anyone else should rrplace him for Germany is nuts.

Nothing to add here... my thoughts exactly.

If Cologne's backside wouldn't tear everything down Podolski just mastered in the offense, they would be up there with Schalke and Bremen.
Seriously this defense does not belong in the first German league, ti's a disgrace.
Cologne should erect a statue for podolski. Without him they would be cannon-fodder.

They're hurting incredibly since Geromel got injured. He's one of the best defenders in the league, but the rest of the team is really not up to snuff. It's basically just Clemens and Podolski who rock. And Rensing.

I really hope Prince Poldi gets some reinforcements soon, more service means more glory.

Godolski doesnt need glory, he is far too good for it the only people that seek glory are players that are below God's status because they need recognition, Prince Poldi needs no such thing.....

He has been awesome throughout the whole season. It's just business as usual.

Well, not the whole season really.
When Cologne is bad, they are really bad. They didn't see the ball at all against Dortmund, hence the 0:5 and 20% something possession. He was also mostly invisible against Wolfsburg, Hertha (where the lost 0:3!!!) and Hoffenheim.

Only against Dortmund was Podolski uneffective, and even then, the one time he had the ball, he had a shot on goal. Against Hoffenheim and the others Koln lost, but Podolski was not invisible at all. Kolns probms right now is their injury problems in defense. Geromel isclass but hesinjured, Sereno is decent, but Eichner is not quite up to par and Brecko is a walking red card. McKenna is decent but injured, and Pezzoni too, but doesnt get played. And Jamal is garbage. Attackwise Pesczko, Clemens, Chihi, Novakovic, and Jajalo are all decent enough. Riether and Rensing aregood by the way. Maybe one more somewhat big starin offense, and Geromel backand a rightback and Koln would be seriously competing for Europe. With Nova and Geromel back evenwe might be able to, especially with Poldi tearing shit up. Viva Colonia!!
