Otelul V Manchester United
Huge opportunity to get 2 back to back to wins against unknown oppsoition. Players must not get complacent, as we saw what could happen in that match v Basel.

Re: Otelul V Manchester United
Crap game so far. Our players can't create a chance to save their lives atm. We have offered nothing going forward and our worst player so far is Valencia. carrick is having a very good game though and should have kept his shot in the box low dammit!
Needs a major improvement in the 2nd half.

2 penalties and an OK performance, but I'll take it.

Re: Otelul V Manchester United
Evra, Carrick and Smalling are the only 3 players who can hold their heads up after that performance....Lindegaard too.
Without those 2 penalties, we would've walked away with another draw. The players seemed to be coasting it and that 1st half was even more boring than Marseille away last season.
Thank God it's all over. Happy we got the 3 points, but honestly, our lack of creativity when our wingers aren't involved is very worrying. we look so clueless going forward.
BTW that red card for Vidic was an absolute joke...that was a yellow at best. There was nothing malicious in it, I hope we appeal it.

Re: Otelul V Manchester United
I think the main problem with you is the type of depth you have.
When the front four of Young-Rooney-Welbeck-Nani are playing, it's all extremely fluid and interchanging but when you bring any of Berbatov, Hernandez, Valencia or Park into the side then you lose a lot of fluidity because they're not as versatile and start looking like last seasons rigid UTD team.

I agree with this 100 %. Plus Cleverley speds up the ball movement with his passing. He is the key difference between this team and the team last season tbh. Rooney did well. 11 goals in 10 games, not a bad return.
