Well, I don't think most of them are *better*, but mainly because it is difficult to 100% certainly rank them anyway. I usually prefer to see many of the pretty equally ranked, and if you follow what I post, you might have noticed that I try not to get involved in any hard rankings as they are always subjective anyway, unless you find statistical data, and even there you can make an argument that a lot of things can't be measured statistically. I'll just say, I would see him at least in the Top10, and I will not say whom I'll rank along as that always upsets other people Razz

(I think I even have posted something with almost the same wording not too long ago).

How old are you? You seem to generalize one fan's opinion as the whole of Real. I have seen many Barca fans saying Higuain is the best finisher, Alonso has always been worldclass (since his last season at Liverpool).

First of all, Banega plays with slightly worse players ( not too big of a difference) but than does many other wc players in his position. If he played for a better team, i think people would see how good he actually is keeping in mind he becomes less inconsistent. It just seems sometimes he tries too hard.

tbh could people stop generalising... first off, be kind and say which ones madrid overrate

the ones i can come up with is marcelo, benzema and özil... and both marcelo and özil will prove that the hype was right in the end anyways but :coffee:

are ppl saying we are overrating ramos and casillas (even though most madrid fans want arbeloa at rb? Laughing

) tbh casillas deserve any recognition he gets, best reflexes i've seen...

I personally dont rate Benzema too much either (i still think he is very good), but I only respect him for making such a good comeback after Ade came. Plus he didnt complain to the media or anyone, he seems like a nice guy. Real fans dont admit it but they are too reliant on Ronaldo, imo. Its funny to me how they dont see it. the reason why ozil is allowed so much space, is because the priority is the close down Ronaldo first. I want to see what ozil will do when he gets man-marked like ronaldo and messi.

If a rating for a WC player was 85 than Benega would be at 83.

He's not there yet, IMO. But I'm sure he'll end up better than Cambiasso & Mascherano. Laughing
