Is Pedro the most underrated player in Europe?

every time i watched Barca and Pedro was playing he left a good impression on me, i thought that by now he would be an undisputed starter but surprisingly Barca kept buying outsiders and playing them ahead of him.

I personally rate him highly, but someone asks me to rank the top wingers in the world today i wouldnt even mention him, not because he's bad, but simply because i wouldnt remember his name since he doesnt play that much and doesnt get a chance to get into the headlines either

He is rated fine,he is all about running behind the defense and finishing.

His dribbling is piss poor,creativity is limited and as a winger he is fail as well.

He is suited as a inside forward who need service and suites barca system well.And No he isnt world class lol.

Sanchez, Krasic, Robben, Ribery, Nani, and Young are all above him. Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta, Silva, Muller, Podolski, and Gotze too if you consider them wingers cuz they occasionally play as wingers. Navas and Dempsey might also be better.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that Pedro is not a winger.
As an inside FW he is doing a great job and his workrate is more than decent. He certainly doesn’t bring any kind of magic in the game but he does know how to score a goal.
From that perspective I too believe he is rated fine by most football fans. And I too prefer someone like Sanchez, Ribery, Silva etc in my 4-3-3.

This is not to say I am not grateful to have him in Barca anyway

I think he's fairly underrated, personally I rate him as one of the best wingers in the world. Top 10 definitely, maybe even top 5 as long as we aren't classing Messi and Ronaldo as wingers.

However I do think that Busquets is more underrated than Pedro.

Pedro? No way hes underrated at all maybe he was a couple of years ago back in 09 maybe 08 , but certainly not now. Busquets is defiantly the most underrated player for Barca right now....

Pedro is a good player for barca no doubt but hes been way off form for a while now...

He's a good goal scorer with some technical ability. other than that, average at everything.

Dani was Barca's second best player after Messi in lst season. He had 20+ assists, few goals, great runs, great defending etc.

He hasn't had a great start to the season BUT look at his achievements:

Scored the first goal in a champions league final.
Scored goals in ALL 6 tournaments in the year of the treble.
Scored on casillas with left foot at Bernabeu in Pellegrini era.
Scored on real madrid in 5-0 manita.

He's a very, very clinical finisher. His shot is underrated. His work ethic is awesome. He runs his ass off.
I think he might be underrated.

Great player, not underrated, but certainly undervalued by Pep...

He is rated just right unless you overrate him with your thread.

How is he undervalued by Pep?

Thomas Muller for me is the most under rated player in Europe.

I think Darrent Bent takes the cake for the most underrated player atm particularly considering he is a striker

In what way? This is the exact reason the thread was created. Please give me Bale's best stats for a season and tell me how he is twice the player Pedro is. Bale may be the most overrated player in Europe and I like him a lot. People call Pedro one dimensional, Bale is the definition of one dimensional. I'm not saying Pedro is better although I do believe he is but I could see how someone would say Bale is, but twice the player and it being a joke, terrible post man. I will also concede that Bale would sell for more then Pedro but again twice the player is just stupid.

Pedro isn';t underrated, he's a good player but he isn't the most talented. He works his socks off but I don't rate him that highly. He is probably the least talented player in Barcas squad tbh. He just follows Peps instructions wisely. He fits into Barca perfectly because of his discipline and workrate. He is a Ji sung park that has been coached better, a kuyt type player. Nothing more, nothing less. Great team player, not outstanding. One thing I would say is that he is probably the most two footed player in Europe atm. I honestly don't know what his stronger foot is...

Again, best at what? Can you show me where anyone said he was the best at anything? The thread was opened to see if he will ever get the credit he deserves at Barca and if others think he's underrated. Where did anyone ask if he's the best, say he's the best, or anything even close to that. Pretty big fail on your part, but what else can anyone expect from you.
