who was better at prime?
Re: Seedorf vs Lampard
Seedorf was already winning Champions league titles when lamps was still in playing for the reserves.
Seedorf far exceeds Lamps in terms of talent and prestige. But like some have said they are legends in their own respects , but Seedorf was truly world class , and proved it by winning in many leagues and teams.

Re: Seedorf vs Lampard
This is a joke right?
Seedorf is Mr. Champions League
He could come out of retirement and walk into the Netherlands 1st team (Lamps is struggling against Gareth Barry types)
Sure Lampard has a lot of goals but he got it exploiting the same weakness over and over again: that PL defenders cannot for the life of them pick up a late run into their box.
I've watched Seedorf play for over 10 years now, he hardly ever gets caught in possession. He is better at defending, passing, long passing, body play.. the list goes on.
The better player by a long shot, in his prime or not.

what arguement is this? some players get their oppurtunity a bit later on in their careers. some are late bloomers etc etc..
lampard has a phenomenal goal scoring record at chelsea both in the epl arguably the best defensive league since 04 and in the ucl.. plus he scores in the big matches for his club

Its just some perspective we are comparing Lamps with a guy who's been winning at the elite lvl for nearly 2 decades. Seedorf was playing at a higher lvl than lamps for much longer and won more consistently over the 2 decades.
Are you saying that Lamps was the superior to Seedorf as a player over the course of their careers? Did i dispute Lampards's goal scoring record? Also there's a reason why some players get earlier exposure than others, must we overlook the fact that Seedorf was a phenom at youth lvl and made his debut with Ajax at 16?

No,
he losses because Seedorf is better passer, better shooter, better dribler and had better technique.
