MILAN - The legendary Milan vice-president Gianni Nardi has died.

Our president, all the directors at the club, the staff, the players and all the employees of Via Turati, Milanello and the Vismara centre, wish to pay their respects.

Today is a day of mourning for all the Milanisti around the world and our condolances go out to the family.

Gianni Nardi, born August 26th 1931, had died at the age of 80.

Vice-president of Milan from 1984, he was a key figure in keeping the club alive and in the hand-over to Silvio Berlusconi.

His passion and love for Milan was unrivalled.
