I don't understand how you can use so much "force" in a tackle that you fall over as a result but nothing happens to the opponent? that doesn't make any sense at all, clearly if there was enough contact then he should have gone down as a result, but, and I'll say it again to really drive the point home: he still takes a couple more solid steps before jumping to the ground. those are hardly ever given. Now you have.Giovanni10 wrote:Well its been a while now, and I still haven't received a response to my argument about the 3rd Barca penalty claim.
Sorry Jiopsi, I have a big screen, I've used google chrome's zoom function and I have perfect 20/20 vision. I will confirm that you have a case for the 1st and 2nd penalty claims but not the 3rd. There is no real force, there is no tramp, the guy flicks out his leg and then falls because he gets tripped up and tangled a bit with Messi. Think about what you and Lionel Messi have just said: he kicks Messi so hard that he(the defender) falls over. Messiah, is like what? 4ft11 and weighs 55kgs tops? I can see how with full force you can "kick" a brick wall and fall over, but not Messi I'm afraid. The defender goes down because he gets hooked up in the attempted challenge.
I imagine we will not be able to settle this dispute, because you have obviously seen something different to me, so its basically a difference of opinion. The gifs, even though they exclude penalty claims not given for Madrid and ones given to Barca, were still a nice find and therefore I must conclude:Well there is clear pattern here, maybe it will eventually evolve in factual conspiracy.THERE IS A REFEREEING CONSPIRACY IN LA LIGA, IT HAS NOW BEEN CONFIRMED THAT FRANCO IS BEHIND IT, HE HAS BEEN CONTACTING THE SPANISH REF ASSOCIATION FROM THE GRAVE
I thought you were only kidding about the match-fixing insinuation? You're actually serious? Wow, ok clearly there has been a misunderstanding here, I see no more profit in contributing to this thread.
I do not understand the point you are trying to make about this "swinging leg" I'm not sure you're sure about which part of the coming together warrants the penalty decision, first you said it was blatant kick at the achilles, and now I have to spot a "swinging leg". There is contact, there is not enough of it to go down, Messi still plants his right leg, then plants his left leg then does a silly little jump to the ground in what actually looks like a half-attempt to win the ball back from the covering defender that comes across... then he swings around to give the ref some puppy eyes. That is the whole incident here.

So you did see the swinging leg, and that it broke up the timing and the place of when or where the leg should have been planted again?Giovanni10 wrote:jiopsi wrote:Can you still answer, before you bail out, did you see the swinging movement of the right leg?Giovanni10 wrote:jiopsi wrote:So you didn't see with your 20/20 vision the swinging movement of Messi right leg? Re: Refereeing scandal in La Liga revealed
Just an observation though all of Madrid's "favourable calls" have come at the Bernabeu. Where it's easy for the ref to give a penalty.
Barca's unfavourable calls have come in away games where it's much harder to get a penalty.
When you look at it that way it makes much more sense.

Please shut this thread down! We don't need penalties to win anything like some other teams do.

Re: Refereeing scandal in La Liga revealed
I retract my previous statement that it could have been a red also. It most definitely should have been a penalty, and a red also:

What about referees, who didint give out cards in yesterdays game, when clearly biscuits and alves was playacting? OR games in last season, when we clearly didint get the penaltys we deserved that could have changed the game...

If everything was fair CR would not be in top-scorers list in la liga, at least he would not be in top 5. Its proven fact that no penalties=no ronaldo

I could be wrong but Ronaldo has scored a goal that wasn't a penalty once a long time ago.

Re: Refereeing scandal in La Liga revealed
La liga would be a one horse race if there would not be penalty rewards every time RM is loosing a game, and Barca did not get ripped off penalties. So, thank God for these penalties that make this mediocre One Horse league to little less mediocre Two Horse league.
