Seedorf=Ticking timebomb
He's had a decent start to the season.. 5 official game starts and 1 goal (debatable if it was intended as a shot) and an assist. His past couple of seasons have been characterized by massive drops in consistancy and game influence. He always seems to have at least a month or two where his class seems to shine through, but over the course of a long season his shortcomings as an aging player far past his prime are all too aparent.
To me, he just doesn't have the legs for it anymore. He's not the kind of player that can play every game, week in and out. His experience and skill is a great asset, but only in the same way Inzaghi's is. If he keeps playing as regularly as he has been lately, I think it's only a matter of time before his form drops and he starts sucking. I hope he proves me wrong obviously.

Re: Seedorf=Ticking timebomb
His incredible form has carried on from last season, so as of now he has been consistent. I've always said that he needs to be rested so every time he is on the pitch he is at his unstoppable best. This is why Aquilani and Emmanuelson are so important, they need to be great when Seedorf is out to fill the void of not having a player of the quality of Seedorf on the field. We all know what a tired Seedorf plays like vs a rested one, it's like night and day so let's preserve him.

This is nothing new. Seedorf has been unable to compete effectively week in week out for a couple of seasons. Allegri showed his brain last season by resting him and only playing him in important match ups. He'll have to continue doing that or we are in trouble.

I was merely trying to downplay the recent trend of pro-Seedorf comments I've been hearing lately...
Glad to see you agree.

He's still a valuable player, but if he doesn't rest every now and then, he'll implode with Bonera-like mediocrity.

I dread the possibility of seeing Slowdorf this weekend... I pray hard that I'll witness Seedorf/Superdorf on the field this weekend instead...

Re: Seedorf=Ticking timebomb
and... Boom.
I thought he was the worst player on the field an should have been pulled by half.

Only a matter of time before Slowdorf revives back as Superdorf, and I'm hoping the 2 weeks break is enough time for that

He's not?
Isn't there a 2 weeks international break for now 0.o?
