Who cares what derby is better?

Offers fantastic variety.

Everton vs. Liverpool a couple of years ago when Kyrgiakos snapped Fellaini's ankle was one of the most entertaining EPL games I've seen.

And the NLD is a goalfest cause neither team can defend for their lives.

Fantastic entertainment.

best merseyside derby moment

but IMO there are much bigger rivalries. Roman derby, Belgrade derby, Genoa derby, Boca-River, Galata-Fener derby, Celtic-Ranger derby are much much bigger

i mean, Carragher managed to score for Everton and got away with it. that would never happen in Rome, even if one of our players were ex-*bleep*

So, in order for a sports rivalry to be hectic, fierce and frantic, the fans need to be aggressive towards each other to a point where they can not be in the same space? In short: The more aggressive and violent rivalry is, the better it is? Rolling Eyes

And here I was thinking the best rivalries do not arise from hatred, but from a burning desire to outperform your rival but also from respect towards your opponent...

Atkinson is the worst ref in the BPL. Useless.
