Barca "B" Finishes 3rd in Segunda Division 2010-2011

FC Barcelona B, under Luis Enrique, despite some heavy losses this season, closes its season with style – By winning away from home, at the Teresa Rivero, against second-placed Rayo Vallecano (2-3), thus preventing the Madrid-based team from snatching Real Betis’s Segunda Division’s crown.

That win also saw the team successfully defend its third place in the standings, the best in Barca’s history for a reserve squad. Along with Betis, it is also the highest scoring team in the division, with 85 goals with Jonathan Soriano declared as the division’s top scorer with 32 goals.

They won against Rayo AWAY:O Won against Granada 4th, 4-0 @ Home!! draw against Real Betis 2-2 Away!won against Celta away 1-2 etc..! i really think they could have made it in laliga.. @ least they are better than the 3rd team that will be promoted this season! Granada or Elche or Celta etc..!

Outstanding. I read somewhere that they would be promoted to the top flight if they weren't of the same club.

Sadly it seems that a lot of the players will exit during this summer. Oh well, not everyone can make it at Barca. I hope the best for them.

There are rumors that Luis Enrique will go to Rome and take a few "B-teamers" with him.

a great acheivement from them!! tbh they deserve the oppurtunity to play in the top leagues, whether it is with barca or with a different club! theyve earned that right in my opinion!

not excatly.. our BEST Youth player who could make it @ first team.. will stay..

Players who left & will leave most of them are 22-> 25

Nolito(24), Edu Oriol (24), Abraham (24), Vazqeuz (24) & Soriano (25)...

two player will leave some space to cover, might affect Barca are Soriano & Nolito.. but thses player are old for B team now.. they have to look for new challege & they can make it.. Plus, a new generation with great talents will get a promotion to Barca "B", players like: Balliu, S.Gomez, O.Rosell, Rafinha, Espinosa, Deulofeu.. maybe Dalmau & Etock could be promoted also.. ( All these players are U-19) so they will gain more exprience playing in Segunda etc...



`Official Transfers:

- Nolito(24) to Benfica ( free-transfer)
- Vazquez(24) to Brugge

Also, Official: Abraham(24,LB), Edu Oriol(24,Winger) and "Benja"min Martinez (23,Forward )will not be part of Barcelona B Squad for next season as announced by the Club


Soriano will probably leave also, not confirmed yet!

+ Thiago, Fontas & Maybe Montoya should be promoted to first team..

+ Rumours are ating that Oier could leave!
