Stu Holden still suffering from Johny Evans' inhumane act

Out for another 6 months. Makes it a year.
hope Evans feels good about it, funny how it's not mentioned in the press AT ALL, whereas if Showcross or Carragher made that tackle, they would have been taken to cleaners.

It's Holden's fault, he shouldn't have such brittle bones ~ Fergie

Shame for him, not had much luck after what happened to him during his spell up here.
Now the injuries hes picked up at Bolton
A player I really like was expecting him to have a good season.
Hopefully he can recover from it and come back stronger like he already has before.

Inhumane act? It was a 50/50 challenge, pal. No malice intended and Evans went and aplogized to him straight after. Evans was punished for it...but to say it was a inhumane act, cmon man...he was clearly going for the ball.
An inhumane act is when a certain experienced defender decides to lunge at our best player during a derby just so he doesn't have to face him, nearly breaking his leg....and getting just a yellow for it

Even Carra went to apologize straight after the match .. Nani ignored him ..Carra waited for your team to move towards the team bus also, he ignored him again... Very big of him ..

SAF would be calling for someone's head had this happened to a United player.
And of course since the FA love to lick his saggy nuts, they would oblige.

Damn....and I hear he looked good for Bolton in the reserves....not only is this a huge physical blow to Stu, but It's got to be devastating psychologically.

And to think Fergie has been complaining multiple times this season about fouls.

Re: Stu Holden still suffering from Johny Evans' inhumane act
Another six to nine months out for Holden who's had yet another round of surgery on ligaments in his right knee. He made his first appearance since the season started with Bolton's U-21 team last Monday but had to leave the pitch after 23 minutes due to an issue with his knee, and the worst fears were realized with today's announcement from Bolton FC.
There is a wee bit of good news for the unfortunate lad though, as he just today announced his engagement to Karalyn West.

Re: Stu Holden still suffering from Johny Evans' inhumane act
This is a recurrence of his right knee injury during the summer with the USMNT. Evans injured his left knee, while he was previously out for a lengthy period after a leg break against the Netherlands. Honestly, it's just terrible, terrible luck on Holden's part. At 28 years old now it looks like it could be the end of his career, honestly. Bolton are showing their class as a club by sticking by him but given his record with injuries it seems quite possible he may be forced to retire if recovery doesn't go exactly to schedule (or better) or another injury springs up following this one.

Real shame. I've always liked the guy, but his luck with injuries is among the worst I've ever seen.
